I was interested in your first post on this thread. How exactly was your holiday arranged? Was it one of the free holidays to Israel? One thing that is known is that as part of its propaganda Israel invites people to visit but you will not get a genuine impression of Israel on these tours - given that there very purpose is propaganda.. They are given to politicians and to people joining groups they form to try and get countries pro Israel - for instance in the UK that would be the various 'friends of Israel' and I think there may be one or two who are not even calling themselves Friends.

If your visit was just a holiday I do not see how you can think you would discover that much. I spent several months in Israel in the 70's including working on a kibbutz and to be frank I found out nothing - though truth is I was not interested in the Political then. I do not know if you are Jewish or not, nor your country but I can tell you that if you were genuinely interested in finding out what it is like for the Palestinians then there is an organisation in the UK, Yachad, who offer trips for British Jews to Israel/Palestine. They are a British Zionist group who want a two state solution. They started these holidays to allow British Jews to be able to see what things were like outside the propaganda as they were deeply upset at the situation the Palestinians live under and believe that if the state of Israel is going to continue and continue as something that diaspora Jews can support then justice really needs to start happening for the Palestinians. If you genuinely want to see what things are like for the Palestinians that is where to go.

The truth is that Hamas and Hezbollah only exist as a response to the terrorist state of Israel. If it wasn't for the Israelis those two groups would have never formed. So if Israelis don't like those groups then they do actually have the power to do something about it just by moving back to Europe. The Palestinian Jews were getting along just fine before the filthy European Jews moved in and felt entitled to everything.
