The following chart shows that hate group numbers have risen steadily in the US, since 2000, other than a small downturn around 2011-2014. However, the number of hate groups isn't necessarily indicative of hateful trends. Many hateful people don't join a group, but align themselves with the sentiment. This poll is not intended to point fingers at any Party. Most responsible citizens in both major Parties, and in other Parties, don't agree with hate and hateful violence. In your view, what is the status of hate in the US?
With the wink and a nod from the U.S. President to white national hate groups, there is quite clearly an increase in activity and emboldened voice that will continue to a climax in the near future. Hopefully the result will follow the historical trend of freedom in America.
The US is entering a period similar to the Weimar Republic in 1930s Germany. Reds and Brown shirts fighting in the streets. Unless the non violent unite no matter your side of politics, one side will take over government and institute a Communist or Fascist authoritarian regime. Time to decide. Violence or non violence.
And your source for that chart is.....who? The racist "alt-left" Southern Poverty Law Center. Your post is mere propaganda. You fail.
The SPL studies the issue. Put whatever source you want up there. It's irrelevant to the discussion. From your post, it seems like you are part of the hate movement.
Hatred between people of different racial, cultural, and economic backgrounds is the worst I have ever seen during my long life. It is even worse now than it was during the Vietnam War and all the big nationwide race-riots of the late 1960's. Today, the United States is on straightforward path to internal destruction if we continue like this.
So the solution to avoid civil war : everybody hops on the Trump train, who is against both equally. It's not too late.
I'm not sure about the word "equally". But suppose I give you the benefit of the doubt on this. I still can't hop on the Trump train, because of his incessant lying. America should have recognized this, during the Primary, when he persisted with the Birther lie, even after proven false. More worthy Republican candidates, refused to stoop that low, but paid the price.
No question that hate is growing especially with all the Trump whining and propaganda that we see from the Fox and Breitbart liars every day.
Hate is alive and well and increasing, on both sides. The left is encouraging violent "protests" and racism with lies. The right is encouraging violence by citing the actions of the left. Neither side has the welfare of the nation in mind, just gaining more power for themselves.
They claim that everything bad that has ever happened is the fault of the right, specifically Trump. He is currently being blamed for N Korea having nukes when they have had them thru several administrations. Further proof: any statement by Rosie O'Donnell.
Oh, and I suppose that an illegal gang of hyperliberal thugs smashing into a group of protesters who were LEGALLY authorized to have a demonstration doesn't add to the accumulation of "hatred"...? "A day is coming", and you on the rabid Democrat Left aren't going to like it! But, just out of curiosity, exactly what do you think that Fox or Breitbard lied about? (Now comes the part where nothing follows but silence)....
google is your best friend - click on Fox and Breitbart lies back on topic: as for the ones who smashed into a group of protesters, that was a member of the right wing
FOX lies aren't hard to find at all: Kimberly Guilfoyle on Fox News on Wednesday: “Literally it’s so disconcerting to me, Greg, that we have a president that is really, not only not rising up to the Winston Churchill moment, but he’s really almost helping the other side because he’s not doing anything to help our team.” Could it be that he’s Satan?! Nah, just a secret Muslim who wants ISIS to execute a global takeover, wink wink. TRUMP (The O’Reilly Factor, FOX News 3/30/11): He doesn’t have a birth certificate. Now, he may have one, but there’s something on that, with maybe religion, maybe it says he is a Muslim. I don’t know.
Southern Poverty Law Center is a political smear organization. If an organization believes homosexuality is a sin or opposes same sex marriage, the SPLC labels the organization a "hate group". Its a scam. So now that calling people "racist" and "homophobe" no longer works, and you can't blame Bush any more, you have received orders to say "you are part of the hate movement" to try to shut people up. You totally FAIL.
Not sure what your video has to do with this topic??? Cute, though. Can you provide a link that shows that SPLC views a group whose primary focus is that they oppose homosexuality, as a hate group?
http://www.foxnews.com/us/2017/07/1...ands-some-peaceful-groups-as-hate-groups.html A number of the socially conservative organizations the SPLC labels as hate groups, because of their views on LGBT issues, have beliefs about such issues that are strikingly similar to those of the Roman Catholic Church. In addition to the Alliance Defending Freedom, the SPLC also includes these socially conservative groups on its "hatewatch" list: -- Family Research Council, a nonprofit, charitable and conservative Christian group and lobbying organization. It says its mission is "to advance faith, family and freedom in public policy and the culture from a Christian worldview." -- American Family Association, a nonprofit group that promotes fundamentalist Christian values and opposes same-sex marriage, pornography and abortion. -- American College of Pediatricians, a socially conservative advocacy group of pediatricians and other health-care professionals. The group was founded in 2002 as a protest against the American Academy of Pediatrics' support for adoption by gay couples. -- Family Research Institute, a Colorado-based, nonprofit that states it has "... one overriding mission: to generate empirical research on issues that threaten the traditional family, particularly homosexuality, AIDS, sexual social policy, and drug abuse." -- World Congress of Families, a coalition that promotes Christian right values internationally and opposes same-sex marriage, pornography and abortion. -- Liberty Counsel, an international litigation, education and policy organization that says it’s dedicated to advancing religious freedom and protecting the sanctity of life.
