    Totally.

The one that said that many of the people protesting the removal of the statue were not kkk or white nationalists. Literally all of them were.

The his comment that the counter protesters were on equal moral footing with the kkk and white nationalists.

Mostly, I blame the republican party voters who picked him over 12 other candidates they had to choose from. No excuse. First they confused the notion of being anti-establishment ( he is not) with being unorthodox ( he is). then they decided the most important standard they wanted to apply to this election, was to pick a dirty nasty pig, a total pig, in state after state contests.

Equating counter-protesters with Racist Scum (like the KKK/Nazis) for starters.

Trump leads to learn the meaning of "Moral Equivalency".

    Trump obviously doesn't care.

Trump would rather burn down The Republic (and take America with him) than admit his mistakes.

Amen but they needed to deconstruct the state and he was the mastermind there..............let's see if this is just not a mere distraction to save from the bigotry blunder. Watch both hands.

It is WELL established that Gorka (along with Miller) needs to go.

    Gorka MUST be toast.

It could be all a ruse to hide his influence behind the scenes.
Will he turn on him or collude as his media arm?
We will see how it unfolds.

    Good analysis.

It was one of those rare situations where the "winning at all costs" mentality (on the part of the GOP) effed-up the country.

Does anybody really think that the country would be facing an Existential Constitutional Crisis if Kasich, Rubio, Etc. had been elected?

That's what his supporters wanted. they wanted to confront the fabric of civilization and rip it into threads because they were pissed at life for not giving them enough.

Great points. You hit them all.

After seeing Twitter posts attributed to the RW (Breitbart) Fever Swamp (within the last hour):

My gut reaction is that Bannon will eventually (if not sooner) EXCORIATE trump on social media.

Miller is smarter than most progressives. Understandably, they hate him.

I don't know if the first is true or not, I haven't seen an accounting of the numbers.

The second one is definitely not something he should walk back.

Anyone shutting down 1A rights with violence is going against actual american values, and is as bad as any supremacist.

Man, Kelly is cleaning house. That interview probably didn't help Bannon.

Maybe Kelly will actually turn this ship around. Though probably not until they wrest Trumps Twitter account away from him.

Kelly likely told Trump he either lets him clean house or he is gone. It worked. Trump is bunkered down now.

Without Kelly there, Bannon could have become Trump's five star general. Anything can happen with this white house circus. The clowns are slowly being weeded out. Will Breitbart retaliate? The rightwing alt-reality crowd won't like this...especially the lunatic fringe that put Donnie Trump in Washington.

The real story is the turnover rate in his white house staff. he cannot get any momentum, if his staff cannot get any doing their jobs. they are still looking for the printer and trying to figure out how to use the phone system and hoping they know how to get a hold of a lawyer to tell them what section 56.C of the new farm bill might mean. This group is has not overindulged themselves seeking post high school credentials.

How does counter protesting those protesting removal equate to not wanting the people protesting removal to protest at all?
