    I'm a bit surprised.

    I had assumed that Bannon was almost untouchable.

    It was Robert Mercer who installed Bannon and Kelly Ann Conway in the Trump campaign and made sure they stayed on after the election.

    Could Mercer, the guy who basically pushed Trump across the finish line, be tired of the Clown Prince, just like almost everyone else?

    The voracity and persistence of this "war" between Breitbart and the administration will give us some indication of how authentic Bannon's removal is. If Trump is still keeping a back channel open to him, then you'll see this die down or out pretty quickly. If it's a raging fire for a good long while, though, then he was dumped for real. The folks who know Bannon are saying he's one to hold a grudge and act on it relentlessly.

    I suspect this has more to do with Trump's ego being bruised after Bannon's off/on-record interview. Nevertheless, I applaud him for dumping Bannon. I hope this signals that he and Kelly are actually now draining the swamp.

    This could be the beginning of the end for the far right's alliegance to Trump.

    For the sake of the country, Trump needs to be put into a box.

    Thank goodness for Kelly.

    Hopefully, Gen. Kelly becomes the "Acting President".

    Gen. Kelly is Winston Churchill compared to Trump's (hormonal 11-year-old Instagram Queen) shtick.
