    Every intelligent person knows what a train wreck the current administration is but the GOP will screw the country for the sake of a few bills that benefit the wealthy until they cannot sweep this calamity called Trump under the rug any longer. It appears that this particular pile of dung is getting way too large to fit under that rug.

    I'm not holding out hope that the 25th Amendment will save the day. If the Dems gain the House next year, and Mueller builds a landslide of an impeachment case, maybe that will drive this clown out of office. But I have my doubts there, too.

    Wow, such hatred for a large group of people, many of whom don't all believe the same things.

    You do realize that the political landscape of this country is basically a pendulum, right?

    Conservatives have won for now, but instead of improving the country many seem to only be interested in being jerks to the Liberals. I can only hope that when Democrats are back in charge (It WILL happen) that we rise above the way Conservatives are behaving now.

    Otherwise, Conservatives may end up regretting behaving this way.

    Just don’t kid. Liberals have no room to talk about “omg they mean old righties are being mean to us.” This IS the left reaping what they sow. They deserve all the hate and more and considering the way THEY are behaving (not conservatives) even after losing it only proved they deserve the hate. Are you really going to sit there and say that over the past year the left hasn’t been one giant hate group? You’re really going to try and make that claim?

    Many liberals are just taking a page from the Republican/Conservative playbook they used when Obama was President.

    I will admit, they may be upping the rhetoric a bit compared to Conservatives, but that's how it goes. When both sides are feeling as strongly as they do, stuff ALWAYS escalates.

    So, at this point conservatives, which have a majority of political power, have a few choices.

    They can keep doing what they are doing, and hope that when Democrats come back in power, they don't retaliate.

    They can change the way they treat others, and it may help them. It can't really hurt them, and it may get them more support.

    Basically, they need to focus only on policies that will benefit the greatest number of people, regardless of their financial station. And avoid the petty bullying, IMO.

    I mean, if they really hate liberals as much as they appear to, and based on many Conservative posters on this forum, I have to think they do, then you need to get rid of Liberals right now, while you have the political power to do so.

    Because Liberals won't forget, and eventually they will have the political reigns.
