What is your hangup on this, anyway? Do you need to satisfy your ego and go down a checklist of your own creation to "verify" that she was close to the family? She knew both the deceased, and his brother, as well as their father. She may not have been making them pancakes every morning, but that's not really what anybody suggested.

Or, you know, the fact that she knew the family. Not really that difficult to understand with somebody with more than two functioning brain synapses.

Accompanying a widow to the funeral of her husband and in fact transporting her in your government limousine implies a very close relationship that I've seen no evidence of so the default position is that it was all political.

I've seen no evidence she actually knew them much less was a very close personal friend. My dad's HS principle would not know me that for 100% certain.

Yeah, well the widow has nothing but praises for her, she was well known by the family, had been invited into the limo and to listen to the phone call according to the widow herself, and attended the funeral service while Trump golfed. Those are all facts.

Aka - "I knew nothing about the situation, but I'm going to keep on applying my own reasoning and experiences to theirs and just assume that its parallel."

You didn't even know about the relationship between the deceased and the family, and now you're just slogging through after learning about it because you're too stubborn to acquiesce.

"Oh, well that's not ENOUGH of a relationship, even though I didn't even now about it until just a few moments ago..."

Bingo!!!! Give the man a cigar. The gold star widow was invited by the Trump hating politician into her Limousine and there was no personal relationship. It was all political.

There was no relationship other than the six degrees of separation we all have with each other and the "she was his dad's HS principle" is a perfect example of that.

Which clearly, she doesn't. She doesn't know this family from Adam in her community. This is what, normally, is called grandstanding, and our cowboy festooned clown decided to prime the public sympathy well with her poison.

No, /facepalm, you can't even get the basic facts right. It wasn't Rep. Wilson's limo. Are you unable to read?

Right, and of course the mentoring program that both brothers belonged to, and one that had just recently graduated from it

"MJ: Yes. Ms. Wilson, my uncle-in-law was Ms. Wilson’s elementary school principal and my husband was in her 5,000 role model program that’s why she’s well connected with us because she’s been in our family since we were little kids."

    K. You guys are just sad at this point.

Totally similar, a mentoring program and staying at a hotel. Not a false comparison at all. But, whatever, don't believe the widow of the slain, believe instead your own ideas about the situation because you're certainly well-versed on the relationship between the family and the Congresswoman. Right? I mean, you lived right next door to them, didn't you?

Twist away. It still doesn't demonstrate a close connection of any kind. Tenuous comes to mind immediately.

The person who is quoting the widow herself, and the history behind how she knows the family, is the one who is twisting away? Not the person claiming that a mentoring program is like staying in a hotel or that the widow's words don't count? Okay.

But I am educated. Bachelors degree in engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

    Your education?

And yes, the Pulitzer organization is run by a bunch of alt-left liberals.

When I speak of the uneducated I refer to those who don’t educate themselves. I have a BS and an MA ..when people don’t question and just accept Fox News and briebart they are hardly educating themselves
And to say the Pulitzer organization is “liberal” is a wonderful example

That, and members of the family went to the school where Wilson was principal.

One that under her leadership was recognized as one of the best schools in America.

Educated in what? Art? History? Sociology?

And I get my information from many sources.

    Yes, it is liberally biased...

Why do you say it is "liberal biased”? because briebart hasn’t gotten a Pulitzer? Everything intellectual seems to be “liberal biased”. The stories that win Pulitzer’s are not biased. My cousin won the Pulitzer exposing the tobacco industry...does that make her a liberal? Interesting that the left leaning papers win the prizes...that has nothing to do with the judges, just better reporters

I find it hilarious the alt-left members here believe thinking people should care about what the far left, fringe hacks on the WaPo editorial board think.

    Haha.

Why do you keep bringing up Breitbart?

    I never once mentioned Breitbart.

It is no secret that ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, NPR, PBS, NYT, LAT, Newsweek, Time, All major Newspapers and Hollywood are all extremely left-wing.
