Be nice if it included some more information. How often is the crime from middle class African Americans? I don’t have the research but I bet that percent is extremely low.

Morality, or the lack thereof, speaks more to the value someone places on the life of another, than wealth, or the lack thereof.

I honestly don't think they report on murders because they care about their people I think they do it so they can get ratings. People don't want to hear about the usual things. So if the news discusses the usual things they lose ratings

 

Local news can discuss almost anything they want, their ratings are generally stable and their viewer loyalty is generally very good. Only in liberal utopias like Detroit, Chicago, Baltimore, do you have enough murders to cover them every day or numerous times a week. Outside of such shitholes local news caters to the community, and reporting on crime is a community service, also local news is far more likely to do follow up on the cases they cover...

I just got home from town where I had my snow tires put on and made a trip to Walmart. As usual I had my CC pistol with me. For some reason when I left this morning and put my 38 in the inside pocket of my Levi jacket I thought, is this really necessary? Apparently it is.

 

I'm guessing nutjob. It's one thing to be bitter or even have anger issues, but this guy has a screw loose. Unfortunately, I strongly doubt there is a cure for what ails him. He'll spend the rest of his life in prison and probably get shivved in a few years for being an nutjob a***ole.

 

It never hurts to be prepared, but the odds of you ever having to use a weapon in self-defense are slim to none.

I carry guns in all my cars but rarely carry one on me for various reasons.

 

BTW, there were a number of patrons carrying, caused some delay by the police, and yet they didn't stop the crime. Must have been off duty. !!

 

How many were carrying and why do you think they didn't stop the crime? Was it because a CCW person in the dairy section who heard a few shots at the front of the store couldn't have stopped a nutjob who walked in, shot three people at the checkout then walked out?
