You said they didn’t come out, they were forced to. So they didn’t come out till they were forced to.

I asked a simple question. I haven’t expressed displeasure or said a thinabout the anthems other than asking when, and showing that despite your repeated claims they didn’t stand before 2009, they were in fact on the field for the anthem before 2009.

I asked when again, to see if you learned anything from last time.

You apparently did as you were unwilling to give a date as to when the good old days of the players staying in the locker room and not coming out for the anthem were.

Edit: I never had to show that they all did it. You were saying they didn’t come out prior to 2009. I showed that to be false.

So why do you keep calling a married man hun or sugar?

Seriously, stop flirting. It’s pretty gross you’re hitting on a married man. I mean where are your morals? I’m married.....

I asked a simple question. He went around promoting and repeating an article claiming that it just didn’t happen before 2009.

I showed that to be wrong.

I like facts. Facts are good things. You like facts right? You w ant people to know the facts, right? You wouldn’t want them spreading false news around now would you?

Edit: btw, I didn’t bring up the good old days when players stayed in the locker room. That was him.

Gee, that’s where I found the video I posted from 2008. It’s a week 10, 3pm game, so nothing special about that game.

So no, it’s just not true. They did come out prior to 2009, the video proves it.

Saluting the flag is patriotic and liberals love it. Those that I have noticed.

I wouldn't go so far and refer to those that diss them as street scum. Cancer says it all.

They were not required to come out. Google it again, and you don't need a video. I have been watching football forever and it
    didn't happen

I just find it hilarious he blamed the NFL for not being able to sell second-rate frozen pizza. Pizza sells itself in this great nation. It may be the only thing more popular in the US than standing for the nation anthem.

If you have to rely on the NFL to help you sell your pizza, you have no business selling pizza.

I was going to say the same thing. I saw multiple ads from Papa Johns while the Jets were upsetting the Bills.

    Hahahahahaha goal posts moved.

First they didn’t come out till they were forced to, now it’s not required to....

Naw, it happened at all the games. There never has been a requirement(still isn’t) but they still were on the field, standing for the anthem.

A video taken almost a decade ago shows that they did in fact come out prior to 2009. I also have one from 2005....

So you believe fake stuff if you want, but they certainly were coming out on the field prior to 2009 and they’ve never been required to do that.

When did I say they were forced to come out? I watched games for many years, and they were not out.

I have too, they mostly don’t show it on tv. When I went to many games, the players were always on the field.

Walter did. The person I first responded to in this thread and asked a simple question:

When were the good old days?

Edit: here’s how the convo went down:

Walter: something something good old days.

    Me: when was that?

    Walter: who cares!

    Another guy: 2009

Me to the other guy: no, and here’s a video showing them on the field before 2009.

You: it’s a fact, google it.

I voted for Gary Johnson, so sorry if that doesn't fit into your Hillary poodle narrative.

Kaep was kneeling starting in the pre-season last year. But again, nobody gave a flying **** until that 1 photograph in Week 3 or 4 of the regular season last year. Once you so called Patriots started calling him Un-American because of his kneeling, even after he told the press why he was kneeling, then folks started getting a little stirred up. The TV networks LOVED the controversy, so they decided to start airing the anthem during regular season games, which they never have done before. Controversy sells, no brainer for CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN....etc. The season went on, players knelt the entire regular season and post season and the NFL flourished with the largest ratings they ever received for Super Bowl 51. So obviously, yeah, true NFL fans didn't give a hell about the players kneeling because they didn't pay money to watch players stand for 2 minutes while someone sings the National Anthem. The true NFL fans only cared about watching the players play the game.

The NFL knows the angry segment of fans that stopped watching because Trump made a mountain out of a mole hill. People are sheep and the NFL knows they will all come back soon. The NFL is a monster compared to the other 3 major sports in the USA. They will simply implement a new agreement with the players allowing them to stay in the locker room during the anthem if they want to, like they used to do. But that won't stop the angry Trump loving society from still calling them Un-American. LOL Obviously you stopped watching the games, but networks have decided not to air the Anthem anymore, just like they were doing before that photo of Kaep came about.

I do agree with you on 1 thing though, the Dems ****ed their base up by crowning Hillary their Queen. Sanders would have mopped Trump in the election.

A.) The League isn't disrespecting millions of Americans. Only the Trump sheep are upset, but they are all dumb enough to come back when the NFL allows players to stay in the locker room during the Anthem so they don't hurt your sensible snowflake feelings.
B.) The league has a terrible commish.
    C.) See answer to B.

Holy hell dude. Before 2009 players had the option of coming out for the anthem if they wanted to, or they can stay in the locker room. Once the NFL signed a multi-million dollar deal with the DOD and Armed Services, they were required to come onto the field for the Anthem.

How is this so difficult for you to follow??

I was just thinking about spikes last night and remembering when the transition took place. I think it might have had something to do with artificial turf.

Forgetting about who did what and when, the protest was waning and was on it's way out. Then Trump in all his glory, began to flap away and the protest took shape again--because the mouth of our predator in chief got in the way of his brains once again. And it was followed by that planned "fake" visit to a game by
the VP. Only the Trump base is fooled by this nonsense.

Never ate anything from a Papa Johns and did not even know if they were in NYC. Just read the reviews on Yelp and one star from 80 reviews kinda sucks anyway. I'll stick to homemade or Amy's organic frozen. Why are right wingers so enamored with fast food industry? This **** is reminiscent of Chick-fil-A and the birth control issue.
