One doesn't "appoint" an election. That ain't the way it works. One "wins" an election. This is 3rd grade stuff. But then you would have had to actually graduate the 2nd grade to know that.

One isn't "appointed" a political point of view either. One chooses it. You can try appointing me to "the right" but it ain't you who decides. That's my decision alone.

Hillary got 3 million more votes. So she won the popular vote. The Electoral College APPOINTED/SELECTED Trump anyway. And the Party that is the one being harmed by the electoral college, is the one calling for it to be abandoned as unfair. Republicans have done that in the past as have Democrats. It depends which foot the shoe is on. But we all know it sometimes stands in the way of the popular vote.
