I love this one! I've been multiply bored with the "constitution protects states and stops congress" bob. But the fact that you have conflicting state laws is not consistent with any notion of natural rights. To summarise, we have a constitution that was originally racist, demanding support akin to Britain's monarchy, which then morphed into - for the pro-gunner chimps- "some states have more rights than others". God bless you!
You must be under the impression that people who legally jump through all the hoops that it takes to get a license to carry a concealed firearm are the ones committing gun crime in this country. Stats show the opposite. Criminals don’t get carry licenses. Can’t even legally possess a gun.
You tell me. I'm not particularly interested mind you. It did amuse me that you didn't deny that the constitution was racist and no different to British monarchy. Thanks for that at least.
Life was racist in the 18th Century. Why should the US be any different? It seems that it's the anti's who feel that some states have more rights than others or CCW reciprocity wouldn't be such a big deal.
Is this that difficult for you? Was there any country that wasn't bigoted or racist in the 18th century? Why would you expect a document created in the 18th century to be any different? Why does it matter?
Because a constitution should not be racist and bigoted, obviously. That you originally allow racist gun control and then blubber over gun control based on the public good shows how you're all worshipping at the god of cretin
They aren’t banned, just extremely restricted. You could still own one of you wanted. You’d just need to become a class 3 dealer.
Luckily the Framers included a process, used repeatedly, to fix those inherent problems. I don't blubber over gun control based on public good, as that's an insufficient reason for any law, nor do I worship any God.
So they allowed gun control based on the public good, despite how they allowed racist policy in the past? That's forward thinking!
I don't think they allowed gun control or any other restrictions based on just public good at any time, but rather those racist and bigoted policies discussed earlier. Do you think that "public good" is sufficient or necessary for new laws?

To be fair, not all gun controls at the time were racist. It would be irrational to ignore policy according to the public good.
