Not gun laws. Laws. You were quite clear. Gun laws are not special. You said laws really only affect law-abiding citizens and only inconveniences us, it does little to criminals.
In Animal Farm, the totalitarians were on the inside. They came from the socialists not from the outside. The pigs were the heads of the revolution, who soon became the totalitarians. Try again.
wrong as usual one of the things that gun banners don't understand is the duality of gun ownership they claim they want to disarm criminals and disarming criminals will certainly lead to a decrease in violent crimes. However, most gun control schemes are far more likely to disarm good citizens which leads to an increase in violent crimes. SO unlike most laws that might be ineffectual, most liberal gun control schemes actually increase the very thing the proponents claim they want to reduce
An evasive BS answer. I maintain you are part of the problem, your positions would deny people from being able to defend themselves, in essence, creating a population of victims in waiting.
The point is that inevitably socialism becomes totalitarianism. You were the one they claimed the totalitarians came from the outside. Here's your exact quote: "It shows how socialism works perfectly until a totalitarian comes in and destroys it." (emphasis added).
Scandinavian socialism works because Scandinavians are involved. They are discipline people, and their culture is cohesive enough that people are shamed into not milking the system. That, and Norway has plenty of petro-dollars coming in. \ Also, some countries in Scandinavia are scaling things back. https://www.thelocal.se/20140121/swedens-welfare-state-most-scaled-back-in-nordics
Vegas, do you know what a C&R license is ? You should get one, from BATF, it costs $ 25 and is good for 5 years. It allows you to purhase C&R eligible firearms delivered right to your door. You also can trade C&R firearms with any other C&R license holder, anywhere in the U.S.

Why should they have to acquire a state license, when they are licensed to engage in the business by the federal government?
Would not such qualify as a violation of interstate commerce under the current reading of the commerce clause? Perhaps government can levy federal charges against the state of California in this particular matter?
Well if it waddles, it quack-eth, it flies South for the Winter, call it a Duck. And if it asks for gun restrictions and gun bans affecting only law abiding citizens and is a pain in the gluteus maximus, Call it a bannerhoid.... Only fair play.....
Better question is: why shouldn't they acquire a state license, since they are conducting business within the state.
On the basis that not every state feels the need to engage in such nonsense. Requiring a state license to engage in a business that is regulated and licensed under federal law serves no purpose that justifies the endeavor.
