Slowly but surely Americans are recognizing the benefits of Trump's policies. Eventually the public won't buy what the left wing media is selling. Can any liberal on this board tell me how their life was made worse with Trump's election? People are waking up and the left's response is to move more to the left, tell lies and ignore Trump's accomplishments.

President Trump's approval polls are now higher than Obama's at this point in 2010.

In an economy at near full-employment, how many jobs do you think would be created versus an economy with higher unemployment?

Unfortunately, the xenophobic conservatives don't see the opportunity here to loosen up immigration and encourage more economic growth. That would increase the labor force participation. However, I thought the standard line for your "side" is that it's retirees who are causing the LFPR to stagnate?

We've just reached our threshold with the illegals.

Removing 20 million or so of them will free up space for worthy and legal immigration.

An easy way to do that, without spending vasts amounts of money and further curtailing liberties (two things hypocrite conservatives love to do) is simply make most of them legal.

Imagine that, people expecting a president to improve their economic future and not do the really important things, like encouraging black rioters, gay marriage, and allowing the mentally confused to pick their bathrooms.

Illegals don't have any entitlement to American liberty.

And if you legalize that many millions of invaders all you'll get is a implosion of the welfare system.

Make eVerify mandatory for employment and ALL government benefits. Then take away their ability to keep legitimate jobs with phony, underage or stolen social security numbers. The SSA and IRS are all too well aware of multiple people using a single social security number. With modern computer databases, it wouldn't be hard to pluck out all the duplicate, non issued or under age users excepting the original issuee. Then send notices to their employers the duplicate users payments are coming from that there appears to be an error and they must verify the social security number within 30 days or face massive fines and jail time. Then move on to the Individual Taxpayer Identification Number filers, requiring them to provide their valid visa's allowing them to remain legally in the country, send notices to their employers the ITIN employee payments are coming from must verify the employee's valid visa within 30 days or face massive fines and jail time. Compile a list of those failing to provide the valid visa's and investigate if they are in the country legally, if not deport them. It's not rocket science.

If that happens then keep the funding the same and spread it out so everyone takes less.

They have never been here in any other manner than at the behest of and due to the lobbying of your Wall Street/donor/"job creator" class bub.

American liberty? You don't even have the guarantee of Habeas Corpus any longer.

    Really?

Here is a few other survey's:

    https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/economic-optimism-index

    https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/consumer-confidence

According to the above two polls...consumer confidence/optimism is lower now then when Trump took office.

Learn to get more than one source - and make sure it is unbiased - before you start claiming Hallelujah and you will not make such silly posts.
Posting the survey was not silly - nothing wrong with it.
Making all your silly claims and assumptions along with the survey was, IMO.

So, if some random person that couldn't even speak English just wandered into your garage and started living there, you would be all for adopting them and making them part of your family? I would guess not. So, why do you think that the rest of us should allow anyone that wants to just wander into our country, set up their tent next door and be granted citizenship just because they got here? You need to take a class on critical thinking.

Actually you just didn't go back quite far enough to show pre-Trump vs post-election of Trump. Here's the real picture from Jan 1, 2016 - Jan 6, 2018: upload_2018-1-6_17-26-57.png
    Source: https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/consumer-confidence

Admittedly, most of the Obama administration shows an upward trend following 2009, but you can't deny nearly a year of decline during Obama in 2016, then a rapid spike upward beginning in November (after the election) that hasn't come below the Obama high point in 2016. The election of Trump instilled consumer confidence.

Really low unemployment. Stock market soaring. GDP kickin butt. Hard to knock those results.
