Schummer told reporters that they met, made some progress but there is a need to meet more.

Which ever way this turns out it had better be what is best for the country and not what is best for the Democratic Party or the Republican Party. If the gebonees in DC really can reach a compromise then thecAmerican people will be the winners not the parties.

Of course we will notvall agree what is best for the American people.

Anyone here hoping for one if the political parties to "win" over the American people winning??

If the government shuts down over DACA considerations or immigration issues, all of it will be "over the American people winning".

I hope the Dems do shut it down. I want to see Democrats all over the MSM telling American citizens that they did it to benefit foreign nationals that have no legal right to be in this country. Screw you, America.

Then again, you are dealing with people who believe that "1+1=3" (if Trump tells them to).

FACT: GOP controls House, Senate, and Presidency

RW Take: "It'll be the Dem's Fault".

    "The Dem's Fault?" :roflol:

I don't think they even realize how CLUELESS that they appear.

    Or maybe they do? :smfh:

House Republicans passed the CR and Senate Republicans don't have the 60 seats needed to halt a Democratic filibuster over DACA.

    What's to sell - Civics 101?

Not what the people are going to "see". On top of that Dems had control for 2 years and nothing happened with DACA. Maybe you should ask yourself why.

Like Democrats so graciously did for Republicans re: Obamacare?

Republicans would be absolute fools to make deals with leftists again, especially now that the MSM has so completely destroyed its credibility.

I've always wondered, do they not realize how dumb that looks and how utterly obvious it is?
