    My bet is that if we were the two negotiating this situation we would be successful.

    I'm sure it would take a concession or two.

    My own view is that Trump purposefully created this showdown by canceling DACA, forcing Dems to take action.

    Now, he can make Dems fail and then extend DACA - attempting to co-opt the issue in a totally cynical act of bald faced partisanship.

    That is a very likely scenario.

    Trump Junior Jr. said that the shutdown was good for them. My guess us that he meant the Trump gang or Trump 's new party that he infested -GOP,b
