    So if the Republicans truly want to keep the government open , all they have to do is continue DACA ? Where's the problem ?

    Its not about what we want, its about the Democrats.

    Trump forced them to this by making those meetings public.

    Why would they want a DACA deal when the fight over it is worth so much more to them?

    They're terrified that DACA is passed before they can use it as ammo in the midterms.

    Trump knew this which is why he forced them into the light.

    The shithole fabrication and this shutdown is simply the Dems response to being backed into a corner.

    It might be because the job of the government is to provide for US citizens, not Mexican citizens.

    I know that's a novel idea though.

    Then let them provide for US citizens: introduce clean legislation that benefits US citizens and stop taxing the middle class for the benefit of the wealthy.

    I do not see DACA as a weapon for the midterm at all and if I was a Democrat I would advise them not to try that stupidity. .

    There was no shithole fabrication because if there was Graham would gave stood up against the charges since test woukd mean he was betrayed.

    Will US citizens and the middle class be paying more or less in taxes after the recent law?

    Do US citizens in liberal states such as California, New York and New Jersey pay more or less in taxes than the rest of the country?

    Do US citizens pay more or less in taxes to support illegal immigration?

    False, as it requires Democrat votes to pass the Senate with 60 votes. If the government shuts down, it will be EXACTLY because Democrats voted to shut the government down as an attack against ALL American citizens on behalf of undocumented migrants. It would be because of "Shutdown Schumer."

    And when the Republican's can't even muster 50 votes in the Senate, it will be the "Republican Shutdown". Democrats have no obligation to follow the Republicans over the cliff.

    The #1 tactic of the Democratic Party: Lying.

    Many of their minions follow that tactic. It is a lie to claim Republicans "control the Senate" over a matter that requires 60 votes, as you well know.

    If Democrats shut down the government as their war against American citizens and the American government on behalf of undocumented migrants a majority of voters will understand exactly what that means: THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY is our enemy and acting in collusion with non-Americans against Americans and the USA.

    What cliff? Not giving amnesty to illegals is going over the cliff but not funding the children and not paying salaries of active duty military is the right course, if you're a democrat. Duh.
