Why? Kim Jong-un had his uncle and his half-brother assassinated. Why should he be, on the other hand, utterly impervious to any harm?[/QUOTE] Why? Because we have nothing and nobody in North Korea to do it. Our only course would be to try to bomb his home. That won't happen.
They had the equivalent of a 9-11 every month, proves you differently. And they lost a massive a mount of their country to ISIS. Their army was simply rubbish. Hence they went to Iran for help. Total disaster.
Total disaster for US foreign policy to drive Irak into the arms for Iran to solve their utterly massive terrorist problem. Something the US could not do. Now Irak is part of the Iranian sphere of influence. Reason enough for NK to go nuclear, and defend themselves against the US way to spread terror.
should they ? We will see how Yellow YELLOW is ...........................................................impotent US blowhardism & if you really want to silence all the WAR talk with Iran ,, Put 40 Nuke Missiles there & point em all at Israel ............................................................peace would be made within in minutes
Nope he is facing the consequences of his own failure. How strange that his infantile name calling and meaningless bluster hasn't solved the problem.
Thanks. As far as I know, the United States many-many times threatened to North Korea. Just four months ago the US president promised to "totally destroy" North Korea: The United States has its military bases and installations in South Korea and in Japan - more than 75.000 military personnel in both countries, also airfields, fighters and strategic bombers, also air carriers and missile destroyers in Japanese ports. From what point of view Japan is a "peaceful nation" for North Korea? Maybe Japan doesn't threaten North Korea itself, but they let the United States to threaten North Korea from Japan's soil. So, does it matter for North Korea that Japan is "peaceful"? Besides, as I've said above, Japan stays in top ten of military budgets in the world, Japanese military spendings are more than the entire GDP of North Korea. Japan developes its own weapon systems - fighters for air force, ships for its navy and so on. The same may be said about "peaceful" South Korea, but unlike Japan South Korea threatens North Korea itself, conducts military drills close to North Korea and practises air strikes on it - together with the USA and other allies. So, it's clear North and South threaten each other, and not only North does that. Like Japan, North Korea hasn't attacked another country (since 1953), and they are peaceful internally too. Their missiles haven't killed a single man in the world. Their military spendings are tiny in comparison to its "peaceful" neighbours. Their forces have never even approached the US borders, and they threaten the USA the same as the USA threatens them. So, I suppose North Korea is a peaceful country. And I don't kno anything about their "labour camps" and nobody knows, so no sense to comment tis unconfirmed information.
The kim dynasty has been working on nukes sinc bill clinton was president Wo dont try to pass the buck to trump
The only time the US has threatened NK is over nuclear weapons. "If you build nuclear weapons and use them against us or our allies you will be destroyed." President Trump is not the first president to say this, or even the second. Its a perfectly reasonable warning to give. You seem to be quite uninformed about NK, and you completely ignore the facts that I presented to you. If you want to imagine NK as the good guys and SK, Japan, and the US as the bad guys then obviously you are not going to let facts stand in your way.
You're absolutely right, Trump is not the only one the US top official who threatened North Korea. Such threats were said by many of them many times. And Trump's reference about "defend itself and its allies" has no sense because North Korea simply doesn't have an ability to attack the US or its allies. It's just an ugly attempt to hide its own aggression under honorable excuse of self-defence. Should I care about who is a bad and good guy here? The good guy managed to f*ck up the entire world for quite some time now... You say the US is a good guy? And what the good guy wants to do? To make a new Iraq or Lybia in North Korea? Or maybe that will be a nuclear desert? Go to hell, good guys. And leave North Korea alone.
The world will always have dominant powers. You think the US and the western allies have f*cked up the world, but you have no idea what the world would be like with others in the dominate position. Most of the world would love to leave NK alone. That is why they do everything they can to draw attention. If they were not a threat nobody would give a sh*t about them.
II didn't say about western allies, only about the USA. This is exactly what is going on. Kim plays his game and makes the USA to play his game, and he wins.
The buck has gone to Trump who promised that Noth Korea wouldn't get nuclear capability on his watch. He failed in that promise.
And neither do you. But looking at the Middle East is is hard to imagine anyone else doing much worse!
I know but it was such a stupid question I thought you might like to answer it first. As far as I know nobody has ever proposed invading North Korea.
You were taunting trump because kim has not been denuked yet and that implies the need for an invasion of the north Which is an option that is still on the table So do you support that if necessary?
Peaceful yes, as long as they, their allies, or their interests are not being attacked or threatened. All countries will protect themselves, their allies if they have any, and their interests to the best of their ability.
