The trick, mehinks, is not getting too invested in fixing the problems the perps and dupes make worse.

If there is something in your link that you think proves your point then POST IT. I gave you the OFFICIAL WHITE HOUSE OMB NUMBERS. But it seems since you cannot refute what I posted you must engaged in your petty insults. The fact is the Republicans handed the Democrats a $161B deficit for FY2007. Two years later after increasing spending 9% for FY2008 and 18% for FY2009 the Democrats had the deficit to $1,400B and they kept it over $1,000B for the next three years. That's not opinion that is fact.
It started ballooning under Democrats starting in 2007 for FY2008, before the recession. And that the Democrats failed to take measures to mitigate the effects of the slowdown which went into a recession almost a year later is one reason it was the worst recession since the depression and why it was the worst recovery in modern history. You act like the Democrats were just along for the ride. They took control of the Congress January of 2007 the recession didn't start till the following December. But there were warning signs of a slowdown, the economy had been on a roll for over 50 months. They did exactly the opposite of what needed to be done.
