    Ewww oh no with my plan all law abiding illegals that meet the strict criteria would be allowed to apply for citizenship. Has to be that way I'm afraid. I'm not worried about their votes. Conservativism is taking back our country and just like with Cubans and Puerto Ricans here in Florida many vote republican.

    Or would if we stop being racist arses. We have more in common value wise

    The voters are not going to see that. They're going to see that Dems shut down the gov't to protect illegals.

    Why do they have to be citizens?

    Illegal aliens have broken the immigration laws and should not be rewarded with the same gift that honest immigrants get who did play be the rules

    Im hoping more people start talking about his lying about his offer. His zero offer that is. I did a few tweets on it and to FOX but those channels are on fire with over 10k tweets an hour.

    Not getting into this with you Mac. It's off topic and it's an old argument.

    I want a liberal to tell me why it's ok for this lying dirtbag Schumer to hijack our government with a limited amount of chips and instead of going all in for DACA and offering the Wall.... He doesn't even ante up! He doesn't put a single chip into play. He just sits there. Then leaves and spams the media that he did something.

    We want more than just the wall

    There must be an end to chain immigration too

    As well as the stupid visa lottery

    But my opinion is that we should not even be arguing over DACA in a budget bill

    Its an entirely seperate issue

    That's our government, it enables the minority to have a voice, Dems have no ability to call a vote on anything so they are hijacking it. But... To offer nothing in return to me is criminal. Seriously.

    Everything else you say there I agree on too. Chain migration as you explained it earlier is unacceptable as is the visa lottery. All of it needs to be thrown out and redone.

    We are not that far apart as might think. I simply like discussing resolutions. Logical ones. I love my country and ecomically we are doing great with the rescinding and unraveling of Obamas madness, tax reform, federal regulations, all of it.

    Schumer is screwing the country right now for DACA and not offering anything in return. He should be arrested and tried for treason.

    I'm not kidding. I'm sick of these people not compromising. You want something? Ante up

    I didn't read 22catch's comments as being personal. He is speaking globally. "We", as in us in general. 22catch's tone in this thread seems to be concerned and frustrated not pointedly angery.

    Just my 2nd opinion.

    However, I will admit one huge mistake Schumer made.... meeting Trump without another D in the room (just an aide apparently)... as Durbin proved last week, being the only D in a room with Trump rarely ends well without corroboration...

    Try again. Most Americans don't want DACA without at least something to prevent illegals from just walking across the border and bringing about another amnesty in the future. We don't mind dealing with DACA but we should also add the wall, do away with chain migration and the lottery system.

    Ending DACA and deporting all of them would eliminate the democrats from using it as a weapon. Maybe this should be looked into.

    No Trump gave congress until March to deal with DACA, Schumer put it in the budget bill.

    Yes, we need to make every employee of every business pass everify. Any employer caught employing someone illegal, faces mandatory 10 years in prison.

    There is no way to forcibly stop illegal immigrants from entering the US. The only option is to make them not want to.

    Go ahead and all we will hear is stories about the Republicans sending people back to a country they have no ties in, can't speak the language, no place to go. Republicans rounding up people, crossing the border and dropping them off with a "Good luck!" Should make for some great TV.
