Why Do we have anti semites & 9-11 truthers posting in this forum?

I push the limits, but I'd prefer more laxity in RESPONDING to these scumbags rather than banning them on principle. I think its helpful to expose their bullshit and I delight in giving it back to them in spades.

 

I am disappointed to see all that stuff on here. I don't think it should be blocked, though. I see a lot of bad behavior on PF. A lot ot it is childish. I hope those members are 12 years old.

What I find truly disturbing is the support for, and advocacy of, violence. We still have Antifa sympathizers freely posting on these boards.

Stupid bigotry, or just stupidity, is one thing. Advocating violent political repression, or any violence, should be cause for being banned.

You have an opportunity to break down their false world view and prevent it from spreading to the ignorant. I am not sure what the issue is so long as they are not taking offensive opinions to the next level via actively bullying people and attacking users. There are already rules against such things and it covers abusing people with all sorts of offensive opinions instead of discriminating on what opinions are bad and what are not.

There is a lot of anti-Semitism on the forum. However, it comes in many forms as both just bigotry or as legitimate issues to debate. Anti-Semitic slurs or spamming the forum with anti-Semitic threads or cut-and-paste blogs shouldn't be allowed.

The KKK is virtually extinct and there are only a few goofy people here and there who claim to be because they are extra stupid and want attention for their failed lives. When the KKK really did exist, usually the most influential and powerful white people in the community were part of it. Now it is just a few losers scattered here and there living on food stamps.

I know of no KKK members posting on the forum. Identify them.

There are a lot of racists and bigots on the forum, but from what I see its about 80% white liberal Democrats and 20% white conservative Republicans - excluding those who are just trolls and attention whores trying to force interact because they have no friends or social life.

I have yet to hear ANYONE who was present at Barack Obama's birth verify they personally know where he was born at. Rather, there are conflicting sets of paperwork both governmental and non-governmental. I don't know where he was born because I wasn't there. Rather, it ceased to be relevant to anything once he was elected. The time to challenge the eligibility of a candidate to be a candidate MUST be before an election, not after. Therefore, I have no reason to care where he was born. However, if a person thinks it matters the person certainly should be allowed his/her voice.

It is NOTABLE that it is nearly always DEMOCRATS - such as you in your message - who want free speech eliminated. So why don't you list all the words, thoughts, social views and political opinions you want outlawed on the forum in your next message? You know how much we care about your opinion on what YOU would allow people to say.

The operational rules and how the staff imposes them seems ok. I don't always agree with how they are applied, but generally it works very well. Don't like it? Find another forum. Although rare, I have left political forums. By that I mean I just stop posting on it. I don't do the "goodbye gruel forum!" or "this forum is UNFAIR!" exit messages. If you like a forum and are welcome on it, post on it. If not, don't. It's not that difficult to understand.

Anti-semitism is bad - Jesus is the worst anti-semite of all time of course because while Hitler killed "only" 6 million Jews the barbaric Jesus will allegedly (according to verses in the Bible - you can't deny that) see that ALL Jews get thrown into a "lake of fire"....Hitler and Jesus are at the top of the list of anti-semites....Hitler is a distant second, however.

You should love Jews more than Hitler and Jesus did, obviously. Love Jews as equals - by doing so you rise above Jesus.

I don't believe that you can prove that anyone, of ANY political persuasion, was in Charlottesville making posts, here on PF, advocating violence. (Umm... that is the subject of this discussion, I believe.)
