Short of attacking? Trump WANTS to attack North Korea. That's what "bloody nose" is all about. No one thinks it is a good idea, but Trump and Bolton. With 30,000 Americans vulnerable to retaliation in South Korea, that would be foolishly putting their lives in jeopardy, as well as Americans in Japan and Guam, and it gives Kim Jong Un a reason to try to hit the continental US. We don't even have an ambassador in South Korea, because Trump is determined to strike, and his own ambassador selection disagreed with him on the "bloody nose" strategy. Just what do you think Trump has accomplished with his "seriousness?" Did North Korea stop their nuclear program? Did North Korea agree to stop their nuclear program? They haven't even responded to Trump's acceptance to meet, because even they didn't expect him to say yes. Trump's said no talks until they denuclearize and they aren't going to denuclearize. If you think Trump is a tough President, we'll just have to agree to disagree. Calling KJU "Little Rocket Man" isn't tough, and that's all he's done.
I’ll give you more credit than that We both know trump does not want war But he does not want to allow nk to go nuclear whatever it takes to stop them
It's too late to stop North Korea going nuclear. They have nuclear bombs and they have ballistic missiles. Whether they can hit the continental US is debatable, at least right now. However, they can certainly hit South Korea, Guam, and Japan, if not Hawaii. If Trump doesn't want to strike North Korea, why did he withdraw his own nominee for Ambassador to South Korea as soon as he disagreed with the bloody nose strategy? What do you think Trump meant when he threatened North Korea "fire and fury like the world has never seen?"
I am not a CIA expert with a top secret clearance So I dont know exactly where NK is I think they have a few nukes and we can see their missle tests But do they have enough to overwhelm our anti missle defenses and destroy an Ameican city? Who knows? I’m guessing they dont but in any case they wont make their move till trump is out of office
So that was under oath I assume? I’m curious as to which part is the lie. He can both be involved in details but not necessarily involved in the lease. There are other components involved. Thank you for at least answering his question with something that doesn’t prove he’s extremely forthcoming under oath.
Nope. I read it. Under oath, he was admitting he lied about things. Not that he lied about them while under oath. Which one of those examples of those 30 lies was performed under oath? Here is the list of things he had lied about in the past from the article: Trump had to acknowledge 30 times during that deposition that he had lied over the years about a wide range of issues: his ownership stake in a large Manhattan real estate development, the cost of a membership to one of his golf clubs, the size of the Trump Organization, his wealth, the rate for his speaking appearances, how many condos he had sold, the debt he owed, and whether he borrowed money from his family to stave off personal bankruptcy.
I did and suggest you re-read your link. Under oath, he admitted he lied about things. Those weren’t things that he lied about under oath. Do you get the difference? Here’s the pertinent part: Well, that's interesting. A decade ago, my lawyers questioned Trump under oath during a deposition in a libel case he filed against me for a biography I wrote, "TrumpNation." (Trump lost the case in 2011.) Trump had to acknowledge 30 times during that deposition that he had lied over the years about a wide range of issues: his ownership stake in a large Manhattan real estate development, the cost of a membership to one of his golf clubs, the size of the Trump Organization, his wealth, the rate for his speaking appearances, how many condos he had sold, the debt he owed, and whether he borrowed money from his family to stave off personal bankruptcy. That isn’t lying under oath. He admitted, under oath, that he had lied about things over the years. That’s pretty forthcoming while under oath.
Wasn’t that the only real war according to Obama ?? He blew it in Iraq and continued the pattern in Afghanistan. Ask Obama about the “just” war in Afghanistan.
Listen man, I got better things to do with my time than read posts where the intellectual limit is to deny, without reason, the validity of the evidence presented. Step up or I'm just going to put you on ignore.
Of course I get the difference. Tell me something, did you see the word "perjury" in my post? Has he lied under oath? Yes he has. Here's part of the deposition for the trial I cited... Q: Now, Mr. Trump, have you always been completely truthful in your public statements about your net worth of properties? A: I try. Q: Have you ever not been truthful? A: My net worth fluctuates, and it goes up and down with markets and with attitudes and with feelings, even my own feelings, but I try. Q: Let me just understand that a little bit. Let’s talk about net worth for a second. You said that the net worth goes up and down based upon your own feelings? A: Yes, even my own feelings, as to where the world is, where the world is going, and that can change rapidly from day to day. Then you have a September 11th, and you don’t feel so good about yourself and you don’t feel so good about the world and you don’t feel so good about New York City. Then you have a year later, and the city is as hot as a pistol. Even months after that it was a different feeling. So yeah, even my own feelings affect my value to myself. Q: When you publicly state what you’re worth, what do you base that number on? A: I would say it’s my general attitude at the time that the question may be asked. And as I say, it varies. He also claimed that land in Westchester County, N.Y., had doubled in value over the course of a year. “Do you have any basis for that view other than your own opinion?” he was asked. His response: “I don’t believe so, no.” https://www.nationalreview.com/2016/02/donald-trump-tim-obrien-courtroom-story/ Now, if you can read that as Trump being truthful and "pretty forthcoming" under oath, then more power to you. Most people know there is a definition of net worth, and it doesn't have one thing to do with how you feel, and the value of a property doesn't double because of the owner's opinion. If that one isn't good enough, here's more…
To anyone's knowledge Trump has not lied under oath. What you meant to say (I'm sure that it was an error of grammar) is that Trump has responded truthfully when under oath.
