Tsk tsk; Sean Hannity plays by his own rules, it would appear. Faux News, his employer, has much to answer for these days. Turns out Hannity, who rails against "elites", has a private jet and has been snapping up millions of dollars of low-income real estate, while hiding behind shell companies. His official new nickname is "Handout Hannity." Fox News host Sean Hannity is responding to the "latest fake news attack" against him, playing the victim to claim that he is being vilified for "investing my personal money in communities that badly need such investment." Despite his frequent rants against liberal or media "elites," an extensive reportfrom The Guardian on Monday revealed that Hannity is linked to numerous shell companies that have spent at least $90 million on nearly 900 properties across the country. Furthermore, belying his supposed conservative principles, Hannity's empire was purchased at a deep discount to him and at a cost to taxpayers."[D]ozens of the properties were bought at a discount in 2013, after banks foreclosed on their previous owners for defaulting on mortgages," the paper reported. According to public records, the properties were purchased by limited liability companies (LLCs) connected to Hannity in states including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, New York, North Carolina, Texas and Vermont. "Hannity is the hidden owner behind some of the shell companies and his attorney did not dispute that he owns all of them," the Guardian reported. Do you even have a clue what this is all about? or are you just parroting what some leftist fake news site tells you to parrot? Hannity invested in companies that buy foreclosed homes and those companies participated in a program started by the Obama administration HUD that gave grants on foreclosed homes in certain communities and that grant money is used to renovate those homes there for revitalizing the community those homes are in so you are against the buying of foreclosed homes renovating those homes so to revitalize communities those homes are in
So Hannity invest his money to make low cost housing available to the poor and you are going to bitch about it. Just amazing.
What's fun about this is that Hannity is already holding up attacking and prominent leftist journalists to the same revelation-standards that they are determined to hold him. He's already nailed a couple by revealing information about them that they REALLY did not want made public to their readers and viewers. Gasp! It's almost as if these leftist journalists are holding themselves up to different standards. Who'd ah thunk it of leftists, eh?
Hannity a "Welfare Queen"? Wow. :smfh: Speaking of "Queen", just take one look at that ridiculous haircut (and that horrifically comical center part)--Hannity has Conflicted Closeted Gay written all over him. Maybe if he came out of the closet, he'd feel better? Hannity's behavior is starting to conjure up comparisons to Chris Copper's character in "American Beauty". Hannity could snap at any time. Hopefully Hannity decides to come out of the closet, before he commits a Capital Crime. "QUEEN" is spot on. Sean Hannity? Things could always be worse. Imagine if people actually existed who took Hannity seriously?
IT's time this country stop falling back on the fuzz, saying what is MORAL. Shawn Hannity, is in it for, SHOCK, Shawn Hannity. And, he KNOWS he doesn't deserve even a smidgeon of that. So, he is trying to be secretive. This is like those recordings of Trump saying he is about to do FABULOUSLY on all the losers that are bankrupt in the 2008. ETC. This country needs folks making out well, that don't screw everyone but themselves.
Being a slumlord is popular with these far right wingers. Fred Trump made nearly all of his money in New York City public housing. Kushner is a major slumlord in New Jersey, and has recently expanded his HUD financed empire southward.
I currently live in a hud house. These are properties that are sold in silent bids, as is and most need repairs. Some are auctioned only to people who will live in the home. And some are sold to investers. Not sure why you are against investing in and improving communities.
Can you arrest someone for breaking a law if there was a law broken? Im asking from California, where that isn't the case.
