    Oh, right, what a great point. Most people buy a gun and have it around the house to hang pictures. They are a multi-use tool. You can even get a belt pouch for them.

    So true, so lets' ban dogs who last year attacked 4.7 million people in the US, killing 25 of which 10 were children aged between 2 weeks and 8 years.

    So of 4.7 million people, only 25 died. Majority of those death are no doubt, resulting from Pit Bulls, so yes Pit Bulls should be banned. Your "let's banned all dogs" is ludicrous.

    So you necessarily have to be unhinged to want a firearm for protection or target shooting or hunting? Why because those are things you don't want to do and everyone who's not like you is nuts?

    Dick's is a large conglomerate. They weighed the pros and cons and made a decision based on their overall sales, of which firearms weren't significant enough to depend on.

    Capitalism, my conservative friends, is alive and well.

    Dicks lost business from the gun enthusiasts, sportsmen and these buying guns for protection. WTF do you mean, dicks lost nothing? They lost plenty, and will continue losing for the years to come.
