You tax away the increased profits. You still think redistribution is growth. How absurd.

And screw the economy and economic growth, redistribution in the name of "fairness" is more important!

The left tries to brag about Obama cutting his deficits in half when in fact it was the Republican austerity that did that.

It's very primitive and based upon envy. There have been such people among us since pre-history.

Which was only 5% of GDP and their policies failed to mitigate it and the economic slowdown and then get us into a full recovery. That was their job, they failed.

There is no data to support that increasing the top marginal rate reduces GDP (growth). Therefore raising the rates on the top earners serves to help with wage inequality.

it's still part of your contribution. the cost of your employment includes 6.2% for ss.

ssi is separate, and private insurance is cheaper, more options and better benefits with fewer strings attached.

The reason we have taxes is to fund the government, right?

our entire monetary, economic and tax system are setup to provide the wealthy with competitive advantage. ss is just part of it.

no, it just weakens recovery through misallocation of capital which provides false incentives to chase federal disbursements.

Ahh, But you can do both. And that is what is wrong with what Reagan started and the Republicans continue to push.
Better that more people are better off than just a few.

How many times have you said " contribute " ?
Contribution means LITERALLY a voluntary measure.A gift,Offering or handout.
Social Security is taken out of ones paycheck { FICA } and therefore
NOT a contribution. It is Entirely MANDATORY.Like pay it or else.
What Planet are your relatives { Kin } from.

First of all, the irony is astounding. The same yahoos who oppose putting money in 401Ks because the stock market may fail or have corrections want to put more money into a SS system that is failing.

Like any government program SS is rife with fraud and corruption. Do you know that 6.5 million people over the age of 112 are collecting SS? There are actually people who fought in the Civil War still collecting SS. When you press the SS dept. as to why this is happening, they will tell you that they would rather pay millions of fraudulent claims than risk missing one person who actually is that old. There are also hundreds of people collecting on a single SS number.

Why would any thinking person want to continue with a system that is ran in such a manner?

Read this and open your eyes.
