I also have a problem with when scarcity no longer exists. I think it's demonstrated pretty well with the piracy issue. First off, I'm pretty anti-IP. I do not think people can have ownership of ideas. As long as you didn't obtain the IP through an agreement stating otherwise I do not see any reason to enforce the whim of the copyright holder. Same with resources: if all of a sudden BHP discovered an unlimited well of oil I'm not sure how I'd react.

Mostly these are things I just need explanations for. I still adhere to the theory of liberty found in the non-aggression principle. It's like... a concern of mine - things that seem to run contrary to intuition. This means they warrant investigation, but not abandonment of the NAP.

Yeah I know right! I decided to argue as a devil's advocate for a libertarian position and it made so much sense I stuck with it. I still think workers control in a business is admirable, just that it should be optional. If a bunch of people want to form a cooperative I have no problem with it - it can be a fine way to run a business! Again, just gotta avoid the coercion.

I still have issues with the homestead principle. Probably the largest area of disagreement actually. I'm not sure what to think. Seems that in a state of nature land should be shared among all, but I don't really see any reason why this should change. In fact, in areas where you must decide ownership I have a problem. I like all my views to be principled and not arbitrary. Still looking into this, got a pretty long reading list at the moment haha. Got any thoughts that can help me with this? I guess I am. Still got issues to work out/investigate, but I can see myself going that way. Have some issues with children, the military and some public goods. I guess everyone is on a journey though.
