There are 3500 LAWSUITS naming the people who were conned by your beloved BLOTUS and he was FORCED to REPAY $25 million to thousands of people that he conned with his bogus Trump University scam.
Here are two. Larry Walters The owner of a Las Vegas-based drapery business, Walters was contracted to supply Trump's hotel in the city. Trump's company, however, demanded Walters provide additional work beyond the original contract. When Walters resisted, refusing to hand over some fabric that was in dispute, "sheriff's deputies burst into his factory after Trump Ruffin sued him. Trucks took the fabric away," the WSJ's Alexandra Berzon reports. Walters claims he never had similar disputes in the past and an investigation of local court records backs him up. The final outcome? Under threat of prolonged litigation Walters settled for $380,000 less than he says he was owed. Forest Jenkins In 1988 Jenkins was the hardworking entrepreneur who was was thrilled to secure a large contract to install toilet partitions in Trump's Atlantic City casino. Unfortunately for Jenkins, the casino filed for bankruptcy just two years after opening. "After years of fighting through bankruptcy court, the Jenkins ended up with just 30 cents on the dollar. Their company was owed $231,000, according to the bankruptcy claim filed in the case. The Jenkins family received $70,000," reports CNN (follow the link for a video segment on the story). https://www.inc.com/jessica-stillma...-business-owners-stiffed-by-donald-trump.html
Thank you. There are thousands of similar cases where the BLOTUS stiffed hardworking Americans including some who went bankrupt because of his failure to pay them what he owed.
Sure, he managed to convince over half of the USA and the UK that there were WMD in Iraq and an impending nuke attack. Very clever of him, wasn't it?
That is not science that is maths, something that may be used in science but is not science Now instead of trying to derail this thread why don't we meet over in the science forum for a good old fashioned scientific debate Meanwhile more anti Trump signs ( see you can't derail my threads!)
Thank you so let my legal mind focus you on the two issues. First the court supported Trump. And so did the cops. Last, Trump would assume firms that were bankrupt on their face. Taking them over and dealing with issues, the corporation then bankrupted. Naturally those hating Trump blame him for the previous condition of the Casinos that Trump picked up to save them. There nationally are many many such transactions done by many many people. The drapery service failed to hold up it's end. As to more work, they could have done what Trump did which was to go to court and let the chips fall where they may. No poster knows the actual inside story. Maybe it was Trumps fault and if we go by the Court, probably the drapery firms fault. They lost in court.
Obama REDUCED the Guantanamo inmates by 85% which goes a very long way towards solving that REPUBLICAN problem.
I realize to you Obama is awesome. But you ignored his failures. Guantanamo was already in existence and you may wish to look up who created the jail first.
I will remind all of those commenting such as this of a fact. Clinton and the congress never would have done all the things to Saddam had it not been our official policy that Saddam had WMD. How do we know? Clinton signed a law addressing this issue. That and came later the confession of an Iraqi General that Saddam hustled out as much as he could to Syria ahead of the invasion. General Georges Sada put all of this in his book. Saddam's Secrets.
Would you agree that claims are made against firms all the time? I can discuss a suit filed by my own sister against Sears that Sears paid her off to escape the expense of litigation. She blamed Sears when she fell at her job. Said the shoes were to blame. As to the 25 million dollars so settled, one believes that but for running for president, Trump would have gone to court. Trump is accused of welching out of far smaller claims than 25 million dollars. His danger all along in paying 25 million is that it would be accepted as proof of guilt. All firms get sued if worth a lot of money. We keep hundreds of thousands of lawyers busy and have courts due to things like this. I Know about teaching real estate. I see frauds a lot on the TV. It is difficult to talk customers out of paying such fees as they charge because the customer wants to know get rich quick schemes. It is as much the fault of the customer as the schools when one wants fraud and the other supplies it. It is a problem organized real estate has to face. We try using education.
Hans lacked authority over Syria. I forgot to mention but there is other forums on such topics. There a current Army Col. disclosed he led American ground troops and did locate WMD in Iraq. Not the bombs but other such weapons.
Many are confused into calling this Trump's wall. Actually when George Bush was President, this wall was authorized by Congress but not all of the funding has been approved as of today. Trump wants the funding.
You are aware that it was different when George Bush made the proposal. More people are going back to Mexico than are coming in
The drapery firm didn't agree to the altering of the contract, which was fair enough. I don't know what the fabric dispute was about. That was the only part where the court agreed. Trump is fond of prolonged litigation, which a small businessman can't afford, so he settled for less than he was owed. Doesn't mean he wasn't ripped off. The casino had been open for two years- is that the same as bankrupton its face?
The drapery man told his tale of woe to the court. But it took Trump suing him to get it resolved. As to the Casinos, if you recall prior to his take overs, it was well known the Casinos were bankrupting. Trump figured he could make them profitable. No surprise there.
