    Technically all presidents have saved us from nuclear war since the end of WWII since there has been no nuclear was as of yet. This is a good thing since it means that even with the average leftist now pushing for war with Russia, Trump is going to make sure that increasingly insane leftists do not get their wish.

    The United States has been involved to a greater or lesser degree in proxy wars in Korea, Congo, Angola, Indonesia, and several other parts of the world. George W Bush and the Isrealis tried to draw Iran into a proxy war in Lebanon in 2007. The US is supporting the proxy war between Saudi Arabia and Iran even now.

    I think there were something like 70 proxy wars that were fought during the Cold War.

    Many revelations that Trump dislikes he calls fake news. Authoritarians don't like when their bluff is called. Authoritarians, fascists, dictators, why do you think Putin has journalists killed? The "major confrontation" the left is talking about is confronting Putin on the election meddling, not some sort of nuclear war. If the left wanted that, they would have done that with the issues involving North Korea.
