Ho hum. Even most Russians know better than to think they way you do. Only the RT crowd are so deluded, whether we're talking RT Russia or RT America.

I wonder what it is going to take for you silly Trump cultists to come back down to earth and start thinking clearly again.

There is always a bill. Your reality allows you to reject this fact.

Well I don't think they necessarily want war they are just willing to risk it too try and take down Trump.

So let's see how this really plays out. So all during George Bush's Administration it was Hatchet job after Hatchet job after Hatchet job from the media they made it clear that they hated his f****** guts that was in a big fan but it was clear the media wanted him to lose. Obama was a perfect little angel the media was absolutely certain that Hillary would win she lost the news media was full of s*** and proved it. Donald Trump gets elected then media lose their ever-loving marbles over it they go on the attack Donald Trump smiles and aptly calls them fake news and they've been on a vendetta ever since how dare he say such a thing. And people on the left just absolutely adore the news media because they are the lap dog of the Democrat Party.

So the Democrat Party in this government media complex that exists to their benefit seems more likely a scenario then Donald Trump just being evil or controlled by the Illuminati or men from Mars or whatever.

No I don't know for sure if I'm being played but if you were honest you would admit that too.

So if I apply Occam's razor the most likely scenario is probably the correct one.

You mean people like me who opposed the invasion of Iraq for a year before the war? Anyone who knows about the Middle East knew it was a huge blunder.

    Trump is right on what?

Trump doesn't believe in deesculation. He's the champion of belligerence.

And his administration is not involved in any discussion with anyone about non proliferation, and he certainly isn't any kind of negotiator.

As for non proliferation, Trump repudiated the Iran nuclear agreement. In so doing, he removed the only real incentive for IRan not to build a bomb. Since Iran esculated its program after being threatened and bullied by the Bush administration in 2003, expecting them to do the same in response to Trump's mindless bellowing is only logical.

Then TRump squandered the bully pulpit by staging a television pageant for North Korean dictator Kim Jung Un. Kim got the spectacle he wanted. He got to stand as an equal to the President of the United States. All he had to do was make noise about denuclearization.

He didn't actually have to do a thing. In fact, he won, because the Russians and the Chinese rewarded Kim for rope a doping Trump by ignoring sanctions. So the North Koreans won in Beijing, Moscow and Singapore, and all Trump got was a photo opp so his base could yell "NOBEL".

Didn't hear a peep out of people during all the crap Barack Obama was doing over there.

I did not oppose the Iraq War because we were going to go to war with them one way or another the question would have been whether or not we allowed them to become a formidable enemy.

Though I think it should have taken about 4 days.

Being a pacifist is sometimes not a good idea.

So lay out the strategy regarding NK and Russia.

For followers of the New Democratic Party, even meeting with leaders from both countries is an outrage.

So, you love making claims, why don't you claim what a better approach would be with both countries.

LOLOL Iraq was crippled by two decades of war and sanctions BEFORE Bush's invasion. They were not a threat to ANYONE.

Why do you suppose oilmen, Arabs, Diplomats, Historians, the Europeans and most of the US military brass OPPOSED the invasion?

What is amazing to me is that so many Americans are still so ignorant about the ME, the oil business and the nuclear deal with Iran.

Ask the Kurds if Saddam and Iraq weren't a threat. Ask the IAEA, UNMOVIC, and UNSCOM inspectors if Iraq wasn't a threat.

well oilmen because peace is good for business Europeans because they're cowards I'm not sure about Arabs don't know what all Arabs are thinking all the time. I mean some of them probably didn't want him killing Saddam Hussein and others probably wanted Saddam Hussein killed. And if top brass didn't want to do it where the hell were they?

    Strategy?

The Trump Administration has no strategy.

Trump kowtowed to North Korea and Russia, now that you mention it.

He gave Kim Jung Un exactly what he wanted.

We still have no read out on what was accomplished or agreed to in Helsinki.

But the Russians keeps dropping bombs claiming that Trump agreed to this or that. Among them was the notion of handing over US officials to the Russian secret service for questioning, and endorsing the Russian occupation of Crimea and of Syria as a Russian client state.

While we are getting episodic readouts from the Russians, we are getting nothing at all from the White House.

This isn't unusual. In fact, Trump has let the Russians have the bully pulpit after every one of his official encounters with them.

When Sergi Kislyak met with Trump at the White House, it was the Russians who took the pictures and issued the read out,, not the White House.

Trump has done that several times in the last year and a half. On at least two occasions, he has talked to the Russians without anyone in the US knowing about it, and no communication from the White House. Instead, the converstations were revealed to the world by the Russians, who, of course, are free to say whatever they want, in the face of silence from the White House.

Which is what is happening now.

So you join the other poster in sprinting away from my request so you can launch another one tone, one trick pony whinny.

    What a surprise.

Perhaps an update to the program is in order....

I have never understood that either. I am by no means an expert. But understanding what goes on in the area of the world that provided half the energy for the internal combustion world seems a no brainer to me.

I sat in gas lines in 1973. I already followed global politics, even then. But after having the reality of it hit home, I took that as a lesson.

I suspect that quite a few people will be thinking about that as Trump's idiotic trade wars take hold and we see significantly higher prices on many consumer goods moving into the upcoming holiday season.

"another one tone, one trick pony whinny."

You're just mad because every word of it is true and you can't refute it.

There really aren't effective strategies to keep Russia from controlling its sphere of influence.

Yet, covert arms to Ukraine would force them to burn cash and resources there.

Ditto Syria. The Russians have no intention of doing anything more than aiding and abetting Assad's carnage there. We may not be able to stop it, but at least we can make it hard for them.

As for North Korea, staging a pageant for the television camera with no plan, no agenda, and no deliverable (just like in Helsinki) is a recipe for disaster.

In preparation for that pageant, Kim went to Beijing, where they briefed him on what an idiot Trump is. The Russians came calling two weeks later to reinforce the message.

If the North Koreans could get de facto acquiescence from the Americans over their nuclear weapons, then the North Koreans would look like geniuses to their Russian and Chinese neighbors.

Which is what happened. Trump and Kim made vague noises about deproliferation, but agreed to nothing. Three weeks later, they made it clear that they never had any attention to do so. Trump said nothing.

In the face of American weakness and retreat, China is now ignoring sanctions.

Kim wins two ways. And all Trump got was a photo opp.
