Except, Flake made his statement while standing next to his best buddy, Coons, who helped Flake extract some likely post-Senatorial promises that will be useful in February. Wonder why CNN failed to disclose that? Flake is a lost cause, both to his constituency who revolted over his lies, and sent him packing, and the Republican party he abandoned long ago.
You ever seen the big machine with levers, one big one that basically said "Straight Ticket," that was invented by a Zombie Democrat, bought by a Zombie Democrat voting official, installed by a Zombie Democrat, and the big one lever pulled by countless zombie Democrats voting for Lester Maddox... Who is that Registered Republican voter with a copy of Fabian Freeway on the shelf that will vote for Andrew Gillum or Nelson...because the Trumpet is a social dummy? It seems to me one really has to have no mind at all, a kin of a racist, to vote against a "******" because some other "******" said someone was a honky; using the words for effect, how fracking stupid can one be to vote against their beliefs to punish a rich Trumpet? In keeping with the logic I will call Bruce Willis a ****** and vote against seeing any of his movies because someone else said Theresa Lynn Russell was ugly.
Of course we will see a backlash, if those R-senators do vote no, that they were voting against Trump rather than Kavanaugh. But in the end, Trump will have to recognize that he is creating his own messes. He even went after Leahy at the rally...apparently, he doesn't understand that the issue isn't about drinking.
Flake is the perfect candidate to run against Trump in the primaries, and if he loses he can run as a 3rd Party candidate to siphon off Trump votes (and assure his defeat).
If that's how you honestly see the situation - in the face of his previous comments about her credibility - then you are simply, blindly following the man no matter where he leads
The only people who would vote for Flake are his fellow Democrats, so why would you want him to dilute those votes? Heck, his own constituents are sending him packing. You don't think their voice would vaporize any thoughts Flake would have of running as a candidate for a party he abandoned?
Have you been through a really traumatic experience? Depending upon the situation you may r you may not remember every single detail. I know a lot of details of when I was hit with a mortar round in Vietnam. At the 35 year mark I still remembered that it was just after midnight only because that is when the Enlisted Club closed and a few of us where some feet away from the club. What I did not recall was what day , Tuesday, Friday, or numeric day it was. There were only two important days in Vietnam, the date you arrived and the date you were to leave. I knew the month of course. I closed out the event after I was discharged from the military hospital. It was until 10 years ago when I had to get my papers out of the safe in order to file for cancer claim dye to Agent Orange exposure that I read the exact date and looked up an computer calendar that I realized what day it was. For Agent Orange claims all you need to proove was that you where "in country". If Inwas applying for injuries from the mortar round explosion and if the VA or the military did not have my paperwork and since I only remembered the month, year, the base of course but not the exact date you would be calling me a liar and accuse me of never having been to Vietnam or even in the military. Right! I went on with my life went back to school, got married, raised a family and did not even look at the Purple Heart medal the an Air Force T--less WAF unceremoniously left on my bed while I was at physical therapy until I went in to get out paper work for thevAgent Orange claim. That is what you are doing with Mrs. Ford. I do not absolutely know if she is telling the truth or not as I do not absolutely know if he is. What I do know is that her not remembering certain details and him claiming that he was a church going virgin until age 23-24 and still has a calendar is not absolute proof innocence.
We owe them a hearing but not automatically believing them. That is just as wrong as Trumpos automatically believing Judge K evidence or not.
You really wonder why CNN failed to disclose the identity of the Senator that Flake was standing beside? Or did you really wonder why CNN failed to disclose your fictionalized promise? Either way, it is a really dumb thing to wonder. Perhaps Trump should not have attacked Flake's fellow Arizona senator by questioning his status as a war hero.
Trump has mocked Ford's spotty inconsistent testimony. Not Ford herself, and her testimony deserves to be ridiculed. Don't let the leftist media set the terms of the discussion. They are liars and apologists for the far left.
Its horrible but I am fine with it. Politics is now war. I hope senators vote against Kavanaugh because he has a rapey face. Perfectly legal and acceptable
If Trump was simply mocking her testimony, why did he call her testimony credible just a couple of days before?
This is all Jeff Flake's way of getting even for Johnny McCain, eh? Well that's mature and productive and not at all petty. Check that...it is all immature, counterproductive and very petty indeed!
Okay, look, Jessie {French Wine} who was in the Korean Radio outfit told me that you ate a Vietnamese, after the interrogation, where the interrogator said, "if you tell us what we want to know, we will kill you." We automatically believe you did not eat the Viet Cong because that is what it means to be innocent until proven guilty, so just like Judge K, we believe you did not eat the gook only because we believe Judge K.
“I tried to yell for help. When I did, Brett put his hand over my mouth to stop me from screaming. This was what terrified me the most, and has had the most lasting impact on my life. It was hard for me to breathe, and I thought that Brett was accidentally going to kill me.” "Indelible in the hippocampus is the laughter. The uproarious laughter between the two and having fun at my expense...I was underneath one of them while the two laughed. Two friends having a really good time with one another." Go ahead then. Ridicule that testimony.
