Key Republican senators condemn Trump's mockery of Ford

I don't dispute this.

But Ford and her accomplices deserve a much more thorough pillorying than received from Trump yesterday.

He never took the kid gloves off.

 

She's nuked herself; it's all but over.

 

You talk as if you have some proof that Ford was sexually assaulted - proof Ford herself has failed to produce.

As for Ford, her and the people who have been parroting and promoting her unsubstantiated and unverified allegations put her in this position, and given that their motives appear to be anything but moral, noble and just I see no reason why anyone should entertain your appeals for sympathy, much less respect. She has earned neither up to this point and neither have the unscrupulous Leftists who have convicted Kavanaugh without a shred of proof.

What The Trumpocity did was dispicable, disgusting, wronger than wrong
but it should not be related to Kavanaugh's appointment. Kavanaugh needs to be judged on his own actions not that of The Trumpocity's.

 

Honestly, in all honesty, No. Not only did he not sexually assault anyone, but Dr. Ford is lying about the assault.

We have more corroborating evidence that she is lying than we do that she is telling the truth.

This entire fiasco is smear campaign by the Democrats. I am sure of it.

Trump uses those rallies as an outlet to talk directly to his supporters, however, I agree, he should have left that topic alone. In any case, I don't think Flake is swayed one way or the other, I think he was a NO from the get go. He will obstruct Trump to further his own cause, much like McCain. Flake and McCain are both self absorbed and petty beyond belief.

 

I do not have a story similar to yours, but I do have numerous traumatic days. I was in DC on 9/11, but not at the Pentagon. I remember that day like it was today, not even yesterday. I have a family member that relayed to me his experience in a market bombing in Baghdad just about an hour after it happened (more than 10 years ago) and I can tell you where I was, what date it was, and what was relayed to me. I remember the full day my mother died vividly (in 1982, mind you) and the days leading up to it and the days after it.

I have never been sexually assaulted so, if this really happened to Dr. Ford, I cannot presume how she would truly cope with it. All I can say is my traumatic events are not less than hers and I remember their details completely!

 

It will not affect the Kavanaugh case but will it have an effect on this Nov???

I think this is a clear case of Turmp's uncontrollable boorish and juvenile behavior is simply screwing himself. If Kavanaugh is not confirmed, I think one has to look at Trump's actions and words on the matter as a legitimate factor.

More impotantly I don't think these comments gave Heidecamp or Manchin any cover in voting no.

People supporting Kavenaugh have either ignored the facts that he beyond much doubt did "something" to Ford and that he lied about his youthful behavior, or decided it's not important.

 

I don't think the senate had much choice once Trump declined to have the FBI investigate before Ford's testimony. It's not optimal, on that I'd agree.

 

I was asking an open question to solicite discussion. My point is what and if anything The Trumcity says will have an effect on Nov. I think not.
Trump's fans will go marching to the polls in a zombie mindless manner just as they cheer his words. He could fart out the tune to happ birthday and they will cheer him along.
