I am white. But I still can post the stats. You don't like the stats that say white have been committing the most terrorism? Try to change that somehow. But don't just whine to the messenger.
And I made no such statement in the post you butted in to.
So I guess you just wanted to troll.

Don't you find it odd, there were many calling for a ban on muslims because of their shootings, but those same people don't care 1 bit about the many recent shootings. Why is that? Hypocrisy? Or just hate those not white?

No we are not sure why he did it but we do not want the media to make it sound as if the reason was because he is a Veteran. I am tired of us Vet being accused of being killers.

PTSD affects different people in different ways - here they are running ads about it - not just for veterans but for police and all who work in high stress service industries - the ads are about supporting your mates. That is a good message regardless

I volunteer at the VA and even though I am not in the mental health department they are on the same floor as my department. Many of the mental health patients are also our patients and they tend to talk and tell things. Some get angry when our Dics refuse to give them pain killers and they yell at us in the office when they check out. All three of us in the office ( two volunteers and the paid guy) are Veteans. Two of us are Vietnam Vets. We are open for discussion if another Vet needs to talk.
The VA has Vet to Vet sessions for discussion groups with no VA officials present. It seems to be popular.

How am I supposed to know what motivated you to create a word that is difficult to type? My answer was purposefully humorous for that reason.

I sometimes abbreviate Progressive as Prog. That's just an abbreviation. Lib is the same thing. That's not a put down.

You've adopted a word that you know is a put down. Come on. I don't care, but don't try to deny it.

Thank you for your service, both in Vietnam and what you are doing for veterans now. Huge respect brother.

Thinking in the abstract what if I killed someone or what if I hurt myself is thought crime. Thinking what if I hurt those people right there or myself with that thing there right now, would be actionable as specific ideation.
Under the red flag law they'd need essentially a bare hunch of this.

    Cute.

When I say thought crime, I'm referring to a mere transient thought with no specifics behind it.
What would be actionable, constitutionally, would be an ideation with sufficient specificity as to make it an imminent threat.
An example of that would be thoughts about hurting a particular person/s in a particular way and some sign you actually intend to do it.
Under the red flag law California passed which allows gun confiscation, they would need essentially a bare hunch such would be present to put him on an involuntary hold. They apparently didnt have that.

What is it that you wish the rule to be?

You are assuming a put down. There was a dictator down in Argentina named Peron. His followers were called Peronistas. Fans of Stalin were called Stalinists. Followers of Hitler were called Hitlerites. My guess is that followers of de Gaul were called De Gaullists. You must have heard of Leninist and Moaists. How about Trotskyite!

You go recall the term Bushies ?

Prog or Progs is not a put down but ******* or ConTard or Progtard is.

Thank you , appreciate it. Since I am retired it is the least I can do to pay back for the time volunteers spent in the military hospitals I was in. Plus I get away from the wife for several hours on volunteer days, and we get Donuts! LOL

my husband is a career marine. he’s deployed twice in the last 10 years. iraq and afghanistan. he holds a high rank and his mos is aviation. he has spent most of his deployments at relatively safe fobs, but he has seen some ****. we share everything, absolutely everything. except that. he absolutely won’t talk about what he saw over there. combat veterans occupy a very special place in my heart, but it’s hard to predict a person’s state of mental health even years out of theater. seems this guy was deeply troubled and out there in the darkness all on his own. knowing as many marines as i do, and knowing their families, seeing him in that uniform beongs me to tears.
