A punk intentionally sets out to offend people...that was his goal. You can call that free speech or political affiliation. But it speaks volumes about him. It wouldn't matter to me if he was Left or Right - if his goal is to offend, I can see why a tour company wouldn't be interested in association. What if his intended offensiveness drew the ire of a crazy who came to a show and became violent. What if innocent people were hurt/affected by that? Yes, it is the crazie's fault, but would a tour company want that kind of problem?

There are consequences for all our choices and actions - time to be a big boy and accept them.

A picture of someone wearing a baseball cap and eating a sandwich in America, in support of an American political party on election day, is hardly incendiary. Especially on ones own personal Facebook page. Because when that's intolerable, he's the least of our problems.

 

I completely agree. He is the least of our problems. But because he threw a hissy about it, we're having this discussion.

 

And that is absolutely his right - I'm not suggesting he shouldn't or couldn't. My stance has been - since the beginning of my posts - that people need to take responsibility for their actions.
