this was supposed to be a middle class tax cut bill.... that is what it should of been, but instead it was another republican tax cut for the rich

It is impossible to please all the people all the time. Life is like that. At least those paying more are at the upper ends of the income spectrum. I assume that is what the left wants.

 

Small percentage of returns have even been filed much less reports on taxes paid, but you just know Trump bad.

If rates are reduced and deductions commonly used by the middle class double, most will get a reduction in taxes.

Witholdings changed automatically for most early in 2018 and they were then taking home more of their pay, in many cases, too much more and now they're surprised to not get the big refund they got before and want to immediately claim they are paying more taxes.

 

They aren't sure what they want. If it was Trump's doing, it's automatically bad.

But it cut middle class tax rates that makes no sense. Why do you want a tax refund? All that means is you paid to much above your tax liability.

 

That "article" (and I use that term loosely) is focusing on SALT deductions. Those folks need to take it up with their local politicians. It's not up to the rest of the country to subsidize states with exorbitant SALTs.
