Here is your logic. And our response is we don't go around the neighborhood taking sticks away from everyone else.
Like, how many far right wing terrorist shootings have been thwarted by US civilians during an attack ? We have 300 million useless guns, good only to be sold to the terrorists themselves. Maybe we need 600 million, or 800 million.
Due primarily to single-party incidents, where there is only one victim and one perpetrator. It is not due to mass shootings, as such incidents are very few and far between, statistically speaking.
Whether or not such an evaluation as factually correct, it is irrelevant to the discussion at hand. The firearms exist, they exist in large numbers, and absolutely nothing will ever change that simple fact, anymore than fire can be made anything other than hot enough to burn.
As do more then 3/4 of nra members who want UBC and love their Medicare. More then 80% of the public are socialists according to your definition. Being a socialist is what ? Agreeing with the Majority of Americans who aren’t white supremist terrorist. This groups leads everyother terrorist group in gun vilolence. Now the response is, they must be socialist ? Far right is not socialism, it’s authoritarian. Fighting for equal voting rights, is democratic. Fighting for voter suppression, is far right, now pretty common with all righties. It’s the right who is outside the norm. That includes gun vilolence. .
Far right extremeist lead all groups in terrorist activity involving gun violence terrorism in the US. The far right fathered by groups like the KKK has long been the dominant terrorist force in the US.
I have a feeling that you will appreciate the following article who falsely compare America to "other developed countries". In reality, those "other developed countries" have very little in common with the US, however, there are about 80 countries with far higher homicide rates than the US, no 2nd Amendment and outright bans on private gun ownership. "The Mistake of Only Comparing US Murder Rates to "Developed" Countries" https://mises.org/wire/mistake-only-...oped-countries EXCERPT " Note, however, that these comparisons always employ a carefully selected list of countries, most of which are very unlike the United States. They are countries that were settled long ago by the dominant ethnic group, they are ethnically non-diverse today, they are frequently very small countries (such as Norway, with a population of 5 million) with very locally based democracies (again, unlike the US with an immense population and far fewer representatives in government per voter). Politically, historically, and demographically, the US has little in common with Europe or Japan."CONTINUED
If the same price, the barrel could be threaded for a suppre The dude identified with China's government and was an eco-terrorist. Sounds like a lefty to me.
Good article which points out what many of the pro-Second people understand but the anti-s selectively choose to ignore. "Few people who repeat this mantra have any standard in their heads of what exactly is the "developed" world. They just repeat the phrase because they have learned to do so. They never acknowledge that when factors beyond per capita GDP are considered, it makes little sense to claim Sweden should be compared to the US, but not Argentina. Such assertions ignore immense differences in culture, size, politics, history, demographics, or ethnic diversity. Comparisons with mono-ethnic Asian countries like Japan and Korea make even less sense."
The guy is definitely socialist/leftist, something the anti's are choking on trying to spin into something different.
Funny. Lefties support voting rights and free elections. . China and the extreme right don’t. You have more in common with them.
How much falser of a statement can you dream up? Obama a hard core leftist supported the New Black Panthers and their efforts to suppress voting by whites. You have your head so far into the leftist sand you should be looking around China by now.
Excellent Post. I think that it's neither productive nor accurate to compare other countries to America especially since no other country has the equivalent of our 2nd Amendment. America has its own unique demographics, more violent Southern neighbors, extreme climate variations and other features that make comparisons to smaller, Northern countries flawed. Finally, who decides what comprises a "developed country" except opportunistic anti 2A critics seeking a means to cherry pick countries that suit their agenda. Yes, America, like other countries, has a violence problem that can be better addressed by more accessible and affordable mental health care rather than trying to micromanage inanimate objects.
Can't feel bad for Kiwis if they lose their guns, that's what happens when you don't have rights and just privileges. That is why I will oppose any infringements on the rights of Americans...
In every other discussion where this statement has been brought up, it has been explained in detail how the claim is factually deficient, and not grounded in anything resembling reality. Kindly refrain from repeating proven falsehoods, and instead stick to the subject that is actually at hand. Such as how the number of deaths that can be directly attributed to mass shootings in the united states are statistically minute, to the point of bordering on insignificant. So amount of screaming, or fallacious appeal to meaningless emotion, is going to change that simple, confirmed, undeniable fact. Every year in the united states, more individuals are murdered due to their connection to criminal activity, than are murdered in terrorist-related attacks. It is that simple.
Then why did they originally vote against the voting rights act, and the civil rights act when they came up for votes?
The southern democrats weren’t liberal. You’re confusing liberals with a party. I’m not a Democrat. Southern Dems became Republican and anti voting rights. They’re all in your party now which freely accepts them .
