A return to civility would require a suspension of Trump's Twitter account. He tweets more negative lies about other people than anyone else on any online venue. Getting rid of his online presence would go a long, long way toward a return to civility. Getting rid of his public presence altogether would probably cinch it.
Co Considering the outright lies constantly tweeted by Devin's "Dear Leader", he may want to think twice. This whole lawsuit may just blow up in his face.
Dude, the collusion hoax was a lie, Nunes exposing the deep state / FBI leadership's attempted coup, FISA abuses, prosecutorial misconduct....it all has proven to be true. Nunes' memo - true, Little Schitt's rebuttal memo - full of lies.
Proven to be true? LOL! Have you been living in a cave? You probably spend your free time driving around perusing pizza parlor basements for child sex slave rings, dontcha? SMH. No wonder Trump loves the uneducated. LMFAO @ Nunes' memo having been proven true. His memo, along with everything else he has done to derail the investigation and protect his "Dear Leader", is a joke. Devin Nunes is a joke.
Certainly not your cave. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/fisa-warrant-application-supports-nunes-memo
So Trump should be found liable for every negative tweet he posts about another person? Because if that were the case, he would have no time for anything but deal with lawsuits.
Hmm, people with a functioning brain tend to understand the difference between a negative post made by a verified account and non-stop harrassment and smear by fictitious accounts that Twitter claims to disallow but enforces it selectively to always benefit the libs. But of course not everyone is blessed with a functioning brain, especially during the TDS epidemic.
No kidding? It is widely believed that these Social Platforms are deliberately supporting fake accounts that slander those the Left opposes, backed by deep pockets donors.
the only ones that believe that are the hard core conspiracy theorists that see conspiracies in everything else.
So in other words, it depends on who is tweeting what about who. If you agree with their political opinions and beliefs, then what they are tweeting is perfectly acceptable. However, if you don't agree with their opinions, they are a troll and guilty of liable. Got it. Typical right wing hypocrisy at its best. As far as functioning brains go, I believe one is necessary in order to recognize the lack of same in others. Sadly, based on what I gather from your posts, you don't qualify.
They need an excuse for the negative posts about them; therefore, it's a left wing conspiracy against them.
It depends on whether it's a real or fake account, whether it's expressing an opinion or harassing, whether it's violating the rules of the site (Twitter) and whether the site enforces its rules consistently or selectively based on their political preferences, allowing defamation of character by fake accounts to go on indefinitely . Anyway, like i said, it's all about exposing social media monopolies' liberal lies, biases, phony algorithms, selective enforcement, double standards, election meddling to the world, not necessarily winning the lawsuit. And that is what makes your liberal ilk terrified and hysterical.
His "cave" is Kazakhstan: "Kazakhstan's human rights situation is described as poor by independent observers. The 2015 Human Rights Watch report on Kazakhstan said that the country "heavily restricts freedom of assembly, speech, and religion. In 2014, authorities closed newspapers, jailed or fined dozens of people after peaceful but unsanctioned protests, and fined or detained worshipers for practicing religion outside state controls. Government critics, including opposition leader Vladimir Kozlov, remained in detention after unfair trials. In mid-2014, Kazakhstan adopted new criminal, criminal executive, criminal procedural, and administrative codes, and a new law on trade unions, which contain articles restricting fundamental freedoms and are incompatible with international standards. Torture remains common in places of detention."[88] The 2016 Human Rights Watch report commented that Kazakhstan "took few meaningful steps to tackle a worsening human rights record in 2015, maintaining a focus on economic development over political reform."[89]" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kazakhstan
Is Nunes' attorney named Steven S. Biss? I was just curious because it sounds like a pretty wild story, and I am having difficulty finding much information. I don't disbelieve what you posted, but in future when you make such claims could you support them with links, please? It will add to your own credibility if you do....
My question is why are you now supporting a whiny snowflake like Nunes? He is launching a several hundred million dollar lawsuit against Twitter because they allow someone to say bad stuff about him. And you want to applaud that type of behavior? Get better.
So you would also support the White House responding to Congressional Oversight requests for documents, right? Just so they can show how clean they are...
I find the social media giants' unscrupulous activities, biases, censorship, lies, double standards, election meddling etc abhorrent, dangerous and anti-American. I don't expect Nunes to win (although it's a possibility), I expect the lawsuit to demonstrate this social media monopoly's dirty laundry to the entire country and the world. It's long overdue.
No kidding! If this silly lawsuit is successful, does that mean it's time for everyone Trump has publicly slandered to sue the pants off of him?
