We astute observers knew the media is out to get Trump when the only source of news on cable that is considered reliable was blasted by the rest of the media. I do not quote Breitbart often since they are admitted to like Trump. Frankly I miss the dead Breitbart. He was a special kind of truth teller.

Koppel is fair. Koppel speaks for himself.

Ted Koppel also stated that Sean Hannity was "bad" for America.
Ted Koppel said that Trump was "the recruiter in Chief" for ISIS.
Ted Koppel also said that internet news sources, like Breitbart, shouldn't be trusted because they were not fact-checked.

He is correct - and he's correct about Hannity as well.

From what I've seen of him I don't like him.

I never watched him over the years though so that is just based of the YouTube stuff I found.

Agreed. I gave up on O'Reilly and Hannity years ago.

I am sorry. I do not see your citations on any of this. Perhaps it missed your thoughts.

I don't give up on either, just that they are not my sources of news. They have talk shows. I miss most of the talk shows. I even miss Rachel Maddow and Don Lemon.

At some point, we just have to start asking the important question here. Why are media, like WAPO, NYTs, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS et al so worried about the current president? It's made them BILLIONS in add revenues, it's resurrected them in ways their own corporate strategies were unable to do, and yet, it's clear that they will bite off the hand that has fed them and suffer noisily as they then wither and die...

Progressive "merika" shouldn't miss the opportunity to internalize what Ted is telling them. His message is a breath of honesty that those organizations need to rapidly address. Somehow, our globalist media forgot that they are, in fact, sovereign enterprises, and even though they might be consumed globally, they don't enjoy any protections in those markets. WAPO discovered this recently.

When CNN et al continue to actively support the aggressions of the Russian tyrant, will folks in this country notice? Or will they only here, bad cheeto man, bad...? Likely the latter. But, there will be those of us who will continue to note that for all of their hot air around the current US president, they all mostly toe the line vis a vis their stories that are remarkably absent that are critical of Putin and his behavior.

At some point, Trump FanBoys are going to have to admit that when so many of the people around Trump and people who have covered politics for decades are questioning the mental fitness of Trump, that some "worry" is going to filter into the news media.

What came first - Trump's weird behavior or the reports of Trump's weird behavior. Now it can be argued that some news outlets are obsessed - but it can't be argued that Trump set the tone for his administration with his King of the Birther antics and personal attacks on his fellow Republicans during the debate.

Your assertion is meaningless. Your mischaracterizing smug with objectivity. I don't, for a minute, expect that those whose pretentiousness is so obvious to ever be introspective enough to understand their own discomfort because they really just think he's not a member of their very exclusive club. He's the Rodney character from CaddyShack. Clearly, their outrage is their unwillingness to allow someone so "vile" into their hallways. We have seen it from both sides of the aisle. Attacking his "mental fitness" seems casual, a off the cuff sort of assertion that belies the underlying threat they absolutely recognize in how their position might be undercut by Trump and his policies. And instead of recognizing this obvious conflict, folks, like you, trot their opinion out as a justification then for your own. So, you confess you're interested in Trump's "weird behavior", and yet you weren't for a minute concerned when others, more accepted within the crowd whose behaviors were vastly less socially acceptable, or legal, were casually dismissed because they were part of that accepted crowd. Honestly, this is so obvious for so many of us out here watching the behavior of those so butt hurt they can't string 4 cogent sentences together before shrieking "orange man bad"... or other BS.

I wonder why Obama's own brother still continues to report that his half brother was in fact born in Kenya then? Why is that? And more, why wouldn't that make a difference to you? And to put a super fine point on it, it was ms Clinton who dredged up that little factoid to begin with. Isn't that why she got her Sec of State job in the end? Isn't that why she was so effective propagating her lackeys throughout his administration? the DNC, etc?

You seem to want to continue to be effected and off put, so be it. Just recognize how ridiculous it looks given the obvious bias and agenda of the news organizations that have been attempting to apologize for their constant coverage of him prior to the election.

So the endgame is, that journalism is dead in America today and the NYT, WaPo, CNN, MSNBC, ABC News, NBC News, CBS News have all become politicized and are political operatives of the radical Democratic party.

Sorry, dude. But my opinion of Trump was formed through personal contact long before he was President - not from listening to news organizations.
And it's hilarious that you think Trump would allow you to be part of HIS club ... his followers are just useful tools to make money and stroke his ego - you have no other purpose in his life. None.

The effective translation of which was.... "whaaaaa."... and nothing more. What is actually funny here is that you believe that I want, or need to be a part of his club... Truly, that was funny. Thanks.....

CNN flat out hates Trump, and they don't care if they lie thru their teeth every night, slander the president's character each night, as long as they believe a simple oops-a-daisy correction buried in their online postings is good enough to set the record straight.

Meh, more complaining that the media reports what Dirty Donnie actually does, not what he and his followers want them to report.

DD and his trumpettes are more worried about perception than reality. Reality is that DD is sludge and there isn't enough lipstick on the planet to dress up that pig.

You"re so emotionally invested in Trump that you don't see he has no clothes. You NEED to part his club. You wouldn't waste 3 seconds posting on this thread if you didn't.

No, they do not report what Trump does, the slander him for things he has not said or done. It's not news anymore.

At this point, it's not just CNN making a mistake, or incorrectly inferring an assumption, for lack of any historical context. they are purposely lying, and slandering the president in an attempt to destroy and impugn his character.

For example, multiple times over the past few years Trump has been either interviewed or been at a press conference, and he has been accused of either being a racist or of supporting white supremacist groups. Each time he has denounced, disavowed, condemned racism and white supremacist groups, and called them evil and vile. And yet a few days later, CNN will slander him as a racist white supremacist again, claiming he has never denounced such groups.

He will go down sooner or later, just ignoring the obvious sticking to your Breibart, and FOX news that is nothing more than right wing neocon propaganda. As a white guy, working class I find it amazing that so many other WHITE guys can turn on their fellow working class Americans. The people I knew back in the 70s and 80s would have never been so gullible, or accept what is basically a BRIBE to work and post for the NEOCON think tanks.
    1. Obviously you know the FED is run by the Elite Jewish Community and control the country ?
    2. These same people are getting fabulously wealthy on the money they already have growing exponentially as the working class loses more ground each year.
    3. That they have had massive tax cuts going back to 1983 and it has been done 5 times since then that has only led to a much worse country.
    4. That they continue the same lies over and over again and you white guys push the agenda further with your racism.
    5. That your families, or extended families are suffering financially and you could care less because it isnt you.
    6. It is sad to watch the white republican, especially the working class ones that still fall for the same **** 30 years later as they make the same amount of money doing the same job at their 10th different place and then blame immigration. The same immigration they supported under Reagan, and both bushes, Clinton too.

Obviously just a bunch of schmucks that cant see past their own self pity.

I remember when Republicans were decent people. Trump's obvious mental health problems are cheered on by today's Republican but the feeding frenzy includes eating their own. Pathetic. America deserves so much better.
