Died young, Failed to take the prescribed antibiotics after a dental procedure. Game over.

 

I commented on Darin awhile back.A war Movie he was in.
One he and Steve McQueen starred in.
- Hell is for Heroes - { 1962 } a slow movie that got better.
McQueen starts out as a wandering G.I. after some R & R.
Had a slight beard { McQueen couldn't grow a good beard }
and a real sour attitude towards authority.He ended up backing-up
his poor leadership attitude by being a model fighter and hero.
Right up to the last scene.Where he ends up ///

Which accentuates the heaveliness of a simple yet beautiful song.

MD 20/20 nearly killed me once. It was my 40th bday and went bar hopping with gfs. First place we went (Dick's Last Resort) presented the bday girl with a bottle of MadDog. On the way to the next bar, we started chugging from the bottle. Rest of the night was a blur.... followed by a raging headache. I wouldnt recommend it unless you're a masochist.

 

Ugh!

 

Not as cheap as some of those, but Old Grandad was my cure for liking alcohol. Normally, I was into vodka, but a wicked gf had a bottle of 'dad, and down that hole we went. Pretty much avoided the stuff since, not worth the headache, jelly legs, or the lack of recall that goes with it.

That being said, sláinte !!

 

When I was just a youngster my grandmother would get me to look for grandpa's liquor, he would hide his bottle. Grandma would promptly pour it out when the bottle was found. The happiest day of his life was when the doctor told him to take a glass of wine every day for his health, it was his excuse for getting his alcohol.

 

Just when I think spring has sprung we get a cold front it was in the high forties this morning.

 

My wife bought a wind chime. One of those loud ones. There won't be an evil spirit within a half a mile of our place.

 

Same here, Daise. Heater in the am, ac on the way home... and rain every weekend. Not complaining too loud though, pretty soon itll be heat and more heat.
