I don't know a hell of a lot about states but for CA coasts but here CA passed a law a looooong time ago to severely restrict the use of land up to 20 miles from the ocean. It is very doubtful the sea can harm all that many over than those here today. Were this Holland and the Democrats this scared, we would have walls going up at a furious pace.
That's one glacier. And, as per the article it points out that the glacier has not slowed its contribution to sea rise.

The Jakobshavn glacier around 2012 was retreating about three kilometres and thinning nearly 40 metres annually. But it started growing again at about the same rate in the past two years, according to a study in Monday's Nature Geoscience. "That was kind of a surprise. We kind of got used to a runaway system," said Jason Box, an ice and climate scientist with the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland. "The good news is that it's a reminder that it's not necessarily going that fast. But it is going." Khazendar and colleagues say this coincides with a flip of the North Atlantic Oscillation — a natural and temporary cooling and warming of parts of the ocean that is like a distant cousin to El Niño in the Pacific. No glacier reversed course. In fact, your cite says that glacier is continuing to move even faster. An ocean current changed its route, and that affected a glacier. And, your cite says the glacier is contributing to sea rise even more than before. You're still trying to be the expert - proposing implications that don't have science behind them.
I would get the hell out of Australia and head to Greenland where the glaciers are growing. Yup, that's what I would do about having a map like that map.

I assumed you knew that Greenland is governed by Denmark. So, I asked you if you thought Denmark should throw open its borders to immigration. This is an important point. As we in the US see, countries do not like open borders. Yet a warming Earth IS putting pressure on people movement.
