Okay, someone let her know I am immune to Dragon Fire too. I got a Cube of Force Spell from a Wizard that I broke out of a Dungeon.
Well we know the ending will be bitter sweet so the Others winning and everyone living happily ever after are both out. Jamie dies fighting the Others and by some action causes Cersei to die (such as not killing someone that goes on to kill her) thus fulfilling prophecy. The North (but not the Riverlands) and Iron Isles become independent kingdoms under Sansa and Yara. Tyrion remains Hand while Aegon and Daenerys rule as joint monarchs while establishing a proto-parlament (breaking the wheel of feudalism). All the dragons die fighting the Others but in doing so win the war. Bronne gets the Twins becuase Jamie promised him a Castle and Tyrion promised to double any other offer to keep him loyal. Daenerys becomes pregnant. Everything is in ruins becuase the War of 5 Kings + War of the Dawn ruined the farms, sacked the castles and killed off an entire generation of men (and in the North, women and children).
Posthumously speaking out as the Avatar of Nymeria Sand - from the House of Martell; - I predict that Snow will die again (for the last time) and if Daenerys Targaryen perishes the GOT saga will crush our viewerships' mortal spirits, lol.
Sorry Moi, I've watched much of GOT x 2 time but still am fuzzy on the subtle nuances of the show, lol. I thought we just had a short 8th season left & that was it... I really like the drama way more than the battle scenes. I rarely watch anything w/o doing computer work at the same time - prob. not advisable w/ GOT, lol... Good to hear from U Moi! S (Cersi must die a terrible death!)
Last I heard, they were considering 4 or 5, but never to do all of them. It's going to be one prequel, about 1,000 years before the GoT time.
It's a rich tapestry of woven stories. If you've been paying 1/2 attention, you've likely missed 1/2 the drama. It's not like a daytime soap where you can skip three years and catch up in one episode.
So-so prep/get everyone re-acquainted episode 1, but given there are only 6 total, it moved much too slowly for me.
What about Jon Snow's first dragon ride? Since I'm a blacksmith and make wrought iron artifacts, I love the ironwork and was especially fascinated with the fabricating of dragonglass weaponry.
The various components of the episode were fine, but given where we are (King has broken through the wall,) I wish there had been more sense of urgency conveyed. Everyone was way too casual. The guys at Castle Black should have been scrambling their asses off.
Jaime and Bran see each other. Bran forgives Jaime because without the incident Bran would never fulfill his role as the Three Eyed Raven. Thus predictith Moi
At this point, Bran doesn't even appear to consider himself human. I think he's above such things and probably has no emotions on the topic either way. He doesn't seem to have any feelings related to any of his family; just a general understanding that they are his family.
YES I noticed how when he caught up to Sansa and she hugged him, Bran did not return the embrace. So does Jaimie just wait for the accusation that may never happen? Confess overwhelmed with guilt? Approach Bran full of regrets? etc. BLAME BRAN and the 3 eyed raven. less they be
Let me preface this by saying - I luv & look forward to every episode of GOT, however, Vikings gets my vote on being a better show... I really like to get to know my characters, fantastically developing a sort-O kindred bond w/ them - if you will. There are fewer characters coalescing around, a more singular plot line & I like that. My emotions are so much more attuned to the ebb & flow of the women & men on the show Vikings; - though after 'Ragnar Lothbrok' died I'm not so sure how well I will like the series - still watching, lol... (Seasons 1 - 4) were riveting for me... I hope I can get back into GOT in the same way. I really think that I shouldn't watch Season 8 until its conclusion, cus I need to 'binge' watch to really get into it, lol. None of this wk. by wk. disjointed viewing - 'thats's for the birds'....
Episode 2 was pretty good. Some predictions: Jon will become a wight Jon Wight will kill Dany Arya will kill a wight and use the "face" to get close to, and kill, Mr. Night King Jaime is oh-so-done with Cersei. He's going to bring her down
Most disturbing of episode 2 was the Arya sex scene. Yeah I know the actress is of age, but she's playing a 14 year old, so the whole thing seemed disturbing.
