    In that case, what is there to complain about?

    If there was an attempt at abortion and the fetus was born alive, one can only imagine what the damage in that horrible situation might be. There is no question that Northam is right - a medical assessment would need to be made, and that parents are required to make medical decisions for underage children. That's the law.

    Of significant importance is that this was an offhand comment by Northam that could only apply to abortions after the age of fetal viability.

    So, this IS an "abortion question".

    NOBODY loves abortion.

    Everyone in the entire US would like there to be fewer abortions.

    There is no question about this.

    Let's try to keep that in mind - along with the FACT that other countries achieve lower abortion rates WITHOUT using the approach of making law after law against women.

    Who said anywhere that EVERY baby born with a severe abnormality would be put to death immediately

    NO, it isn't the role of a OBGYN, it IS the role of mental health doctors....there ARE more than ONE kind of doctor!! Sorry you didn't know that...

    Hmmm it does say “19 similar countries”

    So I will cede your point, however having a lower infant mortality rate than Mexico is not exactly a GOOD starting point

    I have posted a thread on this but in essence I agree with the following

    If babies are dying because of lack of health care in the first year then why the HECK is ANYONE getting thier knickers knotted over what hasn’t happened and what might never happen

    Well you deny that there are people qualified to determine mental health.....so WHO TF do you think should determine it??

    Are you also denying that there are people with mental health problems?

    I have known women who have use Medicaid to get abortions. Who pays for Medicaid. Also did you mean the Hyde Amendment? And who enforces these laws. Maybe you know something I don't. One thing I do know is human nature and the corruption that comes with it.

    And was it an actual abortion or was it a D&C for a failed miscarriage? Same procedure you know. And this is one reason why it is difficult to legislate to stop abortions

    Your BEST, cheapest option is to make RELIABLE contraception affordable

    He came out first as were he unbiased. I spotted his extreme bias on ABC tv. I doubt using youtube I have seen more than 6-8 in total of his shows.
