President Trump has released an altered video of Nancy Pelosi slowed down to make her sound as if she’s drunk or retarded. The question is, can this be seen as a crime committed by the President or is it the responsibility of on line services such as Facebook etc to block this form of libellous distortion.

Would it be a crime? Right now, Trump is in Japan so I highly doubt he had much to do with doctoring video tapes of that moron Pelosi.

Even if he okayed it, it's called humor.

 

I doubt it's a crime but I believe his action here and everywhere else supports the application of the 25th Amendment.

 

If you’d paid attention to the video you’d learn the compares decided not to show it. You’ll find the original Trump production on Facebook and other social media sites.

I searched on youtube, and can't find any doctored video. What I did find is this video of Pelosi which is obviously not slowed down, but she comes across like she's brain dead, and having a hard time dealing with her dentures.

Trump lacks impulse control. He feels duty bound to answer every slight or disparaging remark with a vicious attack. He also lacks a sense of proportion. He can't control his impulses and that makes him unfit to be president. In many ways, Trump never reached adulthood. That is why his base finds him so appealing. They similarly cannot control their impulses and Trump mirrors that.

I’m reminded though of Pete Buttigiegs’ warning not to be obsessed with Trump but to acknoledge many who voted for him had valid reasons for doing so, even if they now find themselves taking a larger dose of the poisen that put them there in the first place.
I wonder too at the mindless support Republicans continue to give Trump. OK, there are signs within the party universal support for Trump is starting to crack but do many Republican members of Congress realise when Trump is gone they’re going to be putting out internal fires all over the place?
