    Because it's true.

Just in case I may have offended your sensibilities, by "atheist trolls", I wasn't referring to atheists in particular, just trolls who happen to be zealous atheists and troll with anti-religious cheap shots, not based on any serious attempt at dialogue.

Does it make you feel you are defending your faith? Do you think it worthy of your god?

No, it makes me feel like I am defending common internet etiquette.

And your god would be proud of you for doing so in a thread you ask for questions?

No, I am asking you a serious question, I find it strange how you indulge in petty insults when discussing your god, never understood it, appears very disrespectful to me. I realise you might not like me pointing it out and so you attempt to excuse yourself by suggesting I am trolling.

There was another instance recently of a RCC priest convicted of child abuse. Do you think that the church has dealt with this issue properly, by helping to convict the perpetrators, making reparation to the victims, and ensuring it doesn't happen again?

It's not strange at all, it's perfectly warranted. Look at the behavior of atheists in this thread. Look at your behavior.

There's a lot of bureaucracy in the RCC. They did not deal well in the past, but have begun to do a better job because of all the media pressure.

I'm against those big payouts of money though.

Ok lets look at my behaviour, tell me what insults I have thrown at you?

We also do have to point out there's a big difference between a religion and a church. One can misbehave but that doesn't necessarily mean the fault is on the other.

So questions about misconduct in a specific church aren't exactly about religion specifically (or at least religious theology), and thus are kind of off-topic in this thread.

The RCC is probably the worst example, but other churches/religions are guilty too. I see you're trying to avoid the issue again, just like last time.

I don't see how it's really relevant to a discussion about religion.
Unless you're talking about hypocrisy and religious organizations not holding up their own standards.

I seems to me that people are just doing as requested and asking difficult questions....why did this thread even get created?

Most of the Jews stopped following the lich when he told them that they had to become cannibal vampires.

And what do you imagine the transubstantion of the bread and wine into the flesh and blood of Jesus performed at the mass is? A party game?

It was intended, obviously, to be symbolic. Do you grasp the actual spiritual meaning of "eat; this is my flesh. Drink; this is my blood"? How about the phrase "in my name"? Do you grasp and understand that? Can you clarify these things?

Claims the one making attacks on other religions by calling them cults. News flash: in the beginning, Christianity fit the profile.of a cult. Many modern cults are based in Christianity. Religion is not limited to the "big three", nor are cults limited to anything outside of said "big three".

I seem to be the only one who can see past the Christian/Atheist blinders as far as asking questions.

    The question is out there.

As much as it may not be your intent, lines like this:

Come across as very trollish and petty.

    Ones like this:

Don't help the trolling atheists impression. And no I am not claiming all atheists posting here are trolling, but yeah it is happening.

The ones you listed are cults. Maybe you need to check the definition. In addition, any relying on magic or spells (magic) are cults. That is not an "attack." It's a fact.
