A national ban on abortions means the poor and everyone who cannot afford to fly to another country to get an abortion will not have any access to abortion no matter the reason. The debate on abortion is now going in circles, and has been for some time. The majority say abortion does not kill a person; the anti-abortion side says a fetus is a human; proof that a fetus isn't a person or a "human being" is presented and repeated; the slogan "abortion kills a human" is repeated; on and on and on and on and on and on and on. We should give it up if 1) both sides will not commit to adhering to proven facts 2) either side insists on spinning the facts into a lie. Otherwise no progress can be made and we are just wasting our time. I will commit to adhering to proven fact, and I will commit to not spinning the facts into a lie. Furthermore, I will submit to ANY factual statement or analysis that shows I failed to live up to this promise. The topics discussed was "late term" -and even I have a problem with late term abortion. The other thing was the comparison between Pro-Life and Diabetes - which was fallacy as she was conflating two issues as if they were the same - but they are not. Last - you have professional spokesperson against Average Joe. Put me up there at the mic and here life would get real difficult real quick.

Well exactly the point. There's no relation between fighting against abortion and care for people who are unfortunately in foster care or broken, single family or who are suffering, just as Diabetes Foundation are not responsible for cancer research. This goes to the merits of any pro-abortion argument.
