Me either. But the reason you don't have to worry about that us because no business in my memory ever had such a policy.

I don't read either the Masterpiece bakery or the instant florist case to be about "artistic license," though that phrase may well get mentioned in passing.

Never. She said and did the opposite for years.

How do you explain the years during which she worked with this plaintiff?

I guess you forgot to count all the whites only and blacks only water fountains in those cities too.

Well then, things could get interesting if a religion springs up that includes ritual human sacrifice. Are we sure all those Aztecs coming in through Mexico don’t follow ‘the old religion’?

It was a big part of the discussion surrounding the Masterpiece case. There is a difference between a store refusing to sell a cake off the shelf and having the owner do specific artistry. The owner claimed a bunch of stuff on this basis. That his art was a personal thing- each piece was unique .. a Masterpiece so to speak ... so that it was not selling a cake that was against his religious belief but having to create a personal artwork.

EXACTLY! Hence, there was NEVER any need for such laws! I swear they were brought in EXCLUSIVELY to compel people to provide wedding services to same sex weddings!

Like I said, a disgracefully shameful and pathetic WEAK, narrow Supreme Court decision.

And once the arrangement is made, a sale takes place doesn't it?

Supreme Court justices? So they go straight from being "eggheads" to being SC justices?

If all that remained on social media was far right groups, what do you suppose that would do to society?

No, I explained that they go into teaching, clerking for appellate judges, and bureaucracies at the justice department. Some work in law firms, very very briefly, and they rarely if ever try cases.

By "try cases", I mean cross examine witnesses, make objections, file pretrial motions, and make closing arguments to live juries, you know, the real stuff.

That's current supreme court law, yes, but just barely (they are not all in agreement, though they all went to the same two or three law schools). We need a really hard case, like the Muslim minister asked to preside over the marriage of two Jewish homosexuals, to see whether there is any limit to the current insanity. They'd probably wriggle out of it, on the basis that the minister doesn't serve the public.

Up here in the Liberal Paradise of Washington State, Hypocritical Bob Furguson loves to Cherry pick what cases to go after based on his political adjenda. A Christian baker is crucified for not wanting to bake a cake for a Gay couple, but a Gay coffee shop owner refusing service to Christians is perfectly fine with Washington States attorney general and the media mysteriously sweeps it under the carpet.

You think that is the only sign of racism and racism never existed in those cities? I heard the n-word more in Chicago than I ever did in the South. My first day in Oaklawn riding with three locals they spot a black guy walking down the main street and remark "what's he doing here" slowing down to give him intimidating stares. Perhaps you forget the race riots in major cities outside the South.
