It’s great to see the President was able to secure this proposal from 3 months ago. Sometimes it takes pressure. Another amazing win by our president! Way to get things done, and by pass the do nothing Dems

Mexico didn't act until Trump announced the tariff.

The reality is this is real action by the president and Mexico. The reality by going with the tariff threat the president essentially said its easier to deal with a foreign govt then deal with the radicals that have taken over the dnc

Price said the president manufactures "a crisis on an issue of importance to the base," then leaves "success undefined," pretends "to play hardball in a way that rallies the base," solves the manufactured crisis and then disguises "the status quo as a 'huge success."

Ain't no spin, bud. Just the way it is with Trump, an accomplished con-man.

So you don't think 5,000 illegals crossing the border every day is a crisis.

    Wow.

If the agreement had already been made, why did Mexico put people on a plane and immediately fly them to DC that very night? Probably to talk about their already made deal, right? Seems logical.

You think if this deal had been agreed upon months ago, Trump wouldn't have said anything? Does that sound like something Trump would do?

No, this really is about hating Trump, and people like you will believe ANYTHING if it fits your agenda.

I get that the OP supports your opinion of Trump, but try using common sense.

A crisis created by Trump. Wow
Trump created this crisis a year ago when he turned down a 25 billion dollar offer by Congress for his wall that Mexico is going to pay for. Then he exacerbated the crisis by cutting aid to Central American countries which caused more food shortages. Then he further exacerbated the crisis by insisting that the Army Corps of Engineers give the wall building contract to one of his friends who had already been deemed unqualified, which stalled the building process.

The lesson to be learned is for you to do your due diligence before asking a silly question. Watching Fox News won't get you the info that you need.

Sorry border security and illegal immigrantion is not a manufactured crisis. Nor is the humanitarian crisis with illegals taking their children on this journey. This is very real.

Making fact based points is generally how we do it.

Repeating everything Trump bellows, even when it is obviously false, is how you do it!

    Trump didn’t get anything.

His team got busy manufacturing his capitulation.

After all, Wall Street was having none of it. American industry was having none of it. Farmers were having none of it. The financial markets were already discounting investments anticipating the economic disruption and people were losing millions.

And the GOP Senate was openly threatening to defy him.

He had no cards to play.

But the loser never loses, so he has to manufacture the appearance of a victory in order to hold his fawning worshipers.

It’s a classing example of Trump and Trumpism at work.

Trump deploys a clearly unplanned red meat play to his political base, with no thought to its consequences. He did not think about or care what the consequences may be, as long as his play worked to entertain his base and reinforce their Archie Bunker world view.

BTW, you can pretty much forget that US Mexico trade deal.

Trump threw it in the garbage, by violating it before it was even ratified.

I have never see anyone create a fake crisis, pretend to be tough with a foreign Country by announcing tariffs regarding his fake crisis just to get his worshipping base to cheer him on and drop to their knees at his feet because he is protecting them from his fake crisis, only to find out Mexico confirmed a deal was struck months ago to appease baby Donny regarding his fake crisis. LOL

Yet his loving cult still yells fake news. LOL

Trump has you all hook, line, sinker. I dont know if Trump is a good con man or if his base are that easy to con?

Excellent point. If the article in the OP has any validity at all it would be that this agreement was proposed at an earlier date but Mexico didn't agree to it until Trump forced them to.

You are so wrong. They didn't understand and boarded the plane to remind Trump in person that there was already an agreement and for Trump to threaten tariffs was not right since there was an arrangement in place. Typical Trump BS. That is common sense.

Dude, the actions are a part of an agreement that the Trump administration developed, irrelevant to when the agreement was made. Your argument is nonsense.

What is occurring today is the president's fault as I have explained. This is not the case of a few slithering across the border undetected.
