Powell is very intelligent and a straight shooter.

This could get very interesting. She knows what Andrew Weissmann and SS Mueller are hiding.

Could you imagine the witnesses Powell could call?

Felon and snitch Michael Flynn gets a new lawyer before finding out how long he’ll be in prison. So what?

And that's the real message being sent.

Help elect anyone other than the people the establishment wants, and we'll ruin you.

And leftists clap like seals over it.

Now that Flynn is not under the Weissmann threats to his family he can now defend himself from the threats.

Yes there was. As long as the Mueller team was in operation, Flynn dared not put up a defense. Now that the Mueller team is disbanded, Flynn can defend himself and discovery is happening even now with background information coming forward like Strzok and Pienka's 302 of the ambush interview which also has some shady history.

Conviction can be overturned based on exculpatory information.

    Sure

Is there some appeals hearing scheduled I haven’t heard about? Also, he plead guilty. Good luck getting that overturned

Pleading guilty under duress is a quick way to overturn a conviction. Weissmann has a very sordid history of doing this and having convictions overturned.

Mueller himself has had ethics issues like when he kept 4 innocent men in jail for years, one died in jail, to protect a mob witness.

I saw that interview when it first ran and she discusses the scum that worked with Mueller in her book Licensed to Lie: Exposing Corruption in the Department of Justice:

Former federal prosecutor under nine US attorneys from both political parties over ten years and three districts, Sidney Powell was lead counsel in 350 criminal appeals for the United States and more than 150 since in private practice.

It was from her experience in several of her cases that she felt compelled to write LICENSED TO LIE: Exposing Corruption in the Department of Justice after seeing a core group of federal prosecutors break all the rules, make up crimes, hide evidence, and send innocent people to prison. The book reads like a legal thriller, but it names the prosecutors who then rose to positions of great power and the judges who turned a blind eye to their abuses of unfettered power.

Sidney is highly sought to comment on current legal issues and government investigations—especially the special investigation lead by Robert Mueller and his chief lieutenant Andrew Weissmann, who is a true villain in LICENSED TO LIE...

The book's a real eye-opener in all the wrong ways. Ms. Powell deserves all the praise in the world for having the courage to expose the deeply disturbing corruption that has existed at the DOJ for years.

What they did to Flynn was totally out of control and most people don't know the whole story. Obama was complicit.

    Does everyone remember this:

    https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2016/dec/29/barack-obama-sanctions-russia-election-hack

Obama waited and waited and waited to expel the Russians right up to the moment when Flynn went on vacation in the Caribbean. Why?

Because at that moment he was off U.S. Soil, they were allowed to monitor him completely and unmask him without any obstacles, as they were spying his Russian contact with tapped lines. They knew Flynn would receive a call, and he did, and they recorded the whole thing. It was from that conversation they attacked Flynn. Even though they didn't think he lied, and lied to him about needing a lawyer, they still went after him and his family to force a plea on a nothing charge. Obama was involved, or the intelligence agencies played him to expel those Russians at that time to kick off the event they were really after.

That is just part of the story. It gets worse and worse and worse as far as the DOJ / FBI actions go.

    Unbelievable!

Trumpies and Republicans fight hard to get the most absurd and whackjob bids for freedom for these corrupt companies and "public auditors".

Companies who were beyond bankrupt and filled with loss of employees whose entire 401ks were locked into by the utterly corrupt company leadership, and the MILLIONS of documents that Arthur Andersen made a record months-long time of shredded document destruction of the "audit statements" to try to get themselves out of jail.
