2/3's of Americans got a tax cut.

Those who pay more in taxes got more back.

Keep in mind that those who pay no income taxes don't get refunds.

I benefited from them and am far, FAR from being wealthy. Or is this supposed to be one of those leftist interpretations of reality in which up is down and in is out?

So mostly Red states got no refunds back?

I'm in the $98-125k range depending on overtime..I owed for the first time last year, and I never felt that poor excuse for a tax cut, overtime still had my check garnished disproportionately...So I also call BS there.

I'm sure all the CEOs enjoyed their haven years though.

A nice refund is not a better refund, or if you do it correct, break even keeping more of your check.

As a single father, living on the eastcoast, I lost plenty of deductions.

So some lower income people got screwed and some lower income people made out nicely -- gasp! -- just like always happen even with leftist generated tax plans. Over all most people did well with Trump's Tax Reform and if leftists and RINOs hadn't balked in the House and Senate then even more citizens would have done great. You want to blame people for your tax related problems then blame the leadership of your own party and those RINOs.

Not really tax problems..Its just under Trump, and Republican leadership, the tax proceeds just go to subsidizing the rich or the military paying $500 for hammers in the name of a handout to influential friends, or trillion dollar per decade walls, instead of where they are needed.

Oh please . . . where do you think the money went during Obama's warmongering years? Oh and don't even get us started on the billions that Obama diverted to unions and to scams like solynedra. Obama crammed taxpayers' money down toilets and laughed about it while leftists . . . applauded. Sooty pot meet sooty kettle.

To do that, Biden would have to win and the Democrats would have to recapture the senate to go along with their Democratically controlled house. Without the democrats regaining the senate, Biden is making false promises. Biden can't repeal the tax cuts by himself, that is something only congress can do.

So your saying he's promising voters something that he can't do?

Is that a wise strategy on his part?

What happens when Trump tweets something like "Sleepy Joe needs a lesson in civics-here's a link to school house rocks"?

Really fixed the economy though...You call that a waste?
Trumps still trying to screw it up, with his tariffs, and deficit increases.

Solynedra is nothin, NOTHING compared to Trumps massive subsidies company's are currently reaping the benefits of, while issuing cut back strategies...Nice try.

Approximately 76.4 million or 44.4% of Americans won’t pay any federal income tax in 2018.

How many of those people do you think are rich?

I'm saying Biden is promising to do something that he can't do unless the Democrats take control of the senate. It's a contingent promise in my opinion. A contingent promise that Biden didn't tell the folks what that contingent is.

If the GOP retains the senate, the house can pass the repeal, then McConnell tables the legislation so it doesn't see the light of day. Either that, the GOP controlled senate votes it down. If the Dems take the senate and Biden wins, the house passes it, McConnell filibusters it, Schumer then uses the nuclear option to get it passed, Biden signs it. But all of this is contingent on the Democrats winning back the senate. Without taking control of the senate back, Biden just made a hollow promise not worth a hill of beans.

Of all people, Biden should know congress must act first.

He knows, he also knows his base may be unfamiliar with these contingencies.

Now we know Biden will cure cancer and raise our taxes if we vote for him and democrat senators.

These idiots don't realize it's the tax cuts and cuts in Obama's record number of regulations that has brought back those manufacturing jobs Obama said were gone and not coming back. It those cuts that has given America the hottest economy on the planet right now. All they see is it only helped the rich. I swear they can't see any farther than their nose. Blacks, Hispanics and Asians have seen the lowest unemployment in their history. All that didn't come off because Trump waved his magic wand.

Economists should have checked with me. Also My brothers, in laws. Parents, neighbors, coworkers and kid. We all benefited and we are all regular.

Sounds like bad research to me.

The national economy was moribund until Trump took office and immediately began deleting ALL of Obama's anti-capitalistic Pen and Phone executive orders. So forth and so on. Obama deliberately put this nation an additional eleven or so TRILLION dollars in debt. Now there's where all your money went. Enjoy . . . and CEASE voting for the Dem Party.

A valid point. The fact is, a president can't legally kill a legislated bill, although I sometimes wonder what is possible anymore.

As a great fan of town hall meetings, I have learned that wage discrimination has become a major issue, as has Trump's tax cuts. When a Town Hall audience is asked, have you felt a positive impact from Trump's tax cuts? The overwhelming majority of the audience says, no. This has been true in Town Halls whether held by FOX, MSNBC or NBC in both Republican and Democratic districts.

From this and polling data and income data I conclude this is much on the voter's mind. When asked what they think about the topic of income disparity, there is always an angry response. I will continue to watch every town hall meeting I can and report.

Exactly, to be fair to Biden he is campaigning. Romney made about the same promise when he stated he would repeal Obamacare. He didn't say a thing about the Democratic held senate at the time. The truth would have been Romney would repeal Obamacare if he is elected and the Republicans take over the senate. He left that last out as did Biden.

Let's face it, those on the campaign trail aren't all that truthful and never take reality into consideration. For the record, I still don't think Biden will be the Democratic nominee. Too old, too white, too male, too moderate per Democratic Party standards.

Your standard federal deduction went from $12,700 to $24,000 if your a standard family of 4 so you most certainly got a tax cut. If your single and making $125,000 did you really need a tax cut? If you live in a state with huge state and local taxes, call your local congressman because that's on them.
