Just an observation here, but our two parties seem more concerned with pandering for votes than actually compromising on immigration reform. Why bother passing legislation when it serves as a perfect wedge issue.

 

Reagan only gave amnesty to the children of adults who were eligable for the safe harbor program of the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 because the Dems forgot about them when they created the legislation. Once again, highlighting how Dems don't care about children.
