Quite a few in the Southeast, Texas is pretty Republican. A booming place whose economy is now the size of the great liberal bogeyman Russia.

I don't know if that was part of the article, or an insert, but it's thinking like that that causes further animosity between political parties, higher levels of vitriol and anger.
I know any number of Republicans and Democrats that honor their marriage vows, and any number that don't.

But some feel better if they can create the us versus them mentality, it makes them feel superior....

It says she was his campaign manager and disbursed funds.

She is the one testifying against him.

Explain to me, using logic, why his wife would be paying for multiple mistresses with campaign funds, then testifying against her husband.

 

Democrats are no puritans either but the GOP has always courted the Religious Right making the hypocrisy so much more evident. Duncan's sex cost his supporters $. Does that not bother you?
