Hopefully Barr won’t allow this to be kicked down the road. The media will bury it. If you ever get picked up by these guys in the future. I wouldn’t talk to the FBI, CIA or DOJ knowing what I now know.

Rep. John Ratcliffe Says FISA Abuse Investigation Is Complete
Horowitz has been investigating whether the FBI misled the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court in its applications for spy warrants against Carter Page, a former Trump campaign adviser.

The FBI relied heavily on the infamous and unverified Steele dossier in the applications for the warrants. Republicans have alleged that the bureau not only failed to verify the dossier’s allegations about Page, but that FBI officials failed to disclose to surveillance court judges that the Clinton campaign and DNC paid for the dossier, which was written by former British spy Christopher Steele.

Let me know when warrants are issued, people are arrested, and the trials start.

    Thanks in advance.:salute:

    Until then?:bored:

The claim that the FBI relied heavily on the “infamous and unverified Steele dossier in the applications for warrants” is misleading at best.

Investigations were well underway long before the warrant to watch Carter Page was sought. But according to the right wing noise machine, the “dossier” is key to their campaign to dismiss everything Trump and his people did because it was not proper even to ask whether a US Presidential campaign was being compromised willingly by agents of a foreign power during an election.

How dare they work to protect our sovereignty like that!!!!!!

I’m sure Daily Baller worked the talking points, and that this will be the latest “just you wait” moment all over right wing AM talk radio for the next few days.

The only thing I’m really interested in about this whole meme is that Horowitz’s report may shed light on why it has been so urgent for the Trump people to protect Carter Page, even though he has never been charged with anything.

Oh, this might be a clue!

There were some other developments that caused them to withhold everything. Steele was to be interviewed and they were attempting to talk to Assange, I can see why they withheld. I can understand why you would be skeptical too, that's your nature.

He's such a clown. I'm sure you private messaged him and ruined his nap right? :roflol:
IG Horowitz preliminary findings cited specific instances of criminal conduct and a broader "cultural attitude" of indifference towards FBI / DOJ regs. Presumably AG Barr will now procede to prosecutre the criminals Horowitz identified. McCabe & Strzok must be having a nervous breakdown this morning. ::):

You'd think the way they cheered the treatment that Manafort received they'd be all for justice being served.

    And has Assange been interviewed?

There is no evidence of it.

    Has Steele been interviewed?

There were press reports that he had agreed to be. But all of this “reporting” is in unreliable right wing tabloid blogs, and is obviously part of a noise campaign run by long time GOP operative Joe DiGenova, in his typical “just you wait”, “bombshell” style.

He hyped the ratings for Daryl Issa’s witch-hunts in much the same manner. And all those bombs were duds (too!?)

The way the right wing noise machine works, one would safely assume that had any of these interviews actually taken place, DiGenova and Toensing would have crowed from the rooftops.

But there is no evidence that either one of them has been interviewed at all.

So, holding something back on the basis of interviews that never happened isn’t much of an excuse.

I was just giving my opinion which is like a you know what. Same as your opinion. You want the real reason you and Andrew should go ask AG Barr.

You are apparently completely clueless of what the background information that has come out. Not surprised if you only listen to left wing media.

I don’t listen to right wing talk radio very much. It’s too full of stereotypes, race baiting, appeals to ignorance and the sort of dishonest political marketing that this thread is based on.

I may tune in for a few minutes today or tomorrow.

By then, Limpballs and his imitators will be bellowing about this full volume. You know it as well as I do.

I expect to see DiGenova and/or Victoria Toensing promoting it on Fox Noise too, if they haven’t already.

Information suggests Horowitz and possibly Durham have interviewed Steele.

The investigation allegedly was started based on Misfud and Popodopoulos where the Muller report claims Misfud was a Russian agent which is now known not to be true. Heck, Misfud was associated with western intelligence and even trained FBI agents.

Nope ... AG Barr firmly establishing Obama's legacy of criminality by convicting his FBI / DOJ henchmen, isn't anything AJ or PF liberals will appreciate.

Here's a right wing noise machine working.

Wolf Blitzer reporting Steele has agreed to talk to DOJ.

BLITZER: Sunlen Serfaty up on Capitol Hill, thank you.

Also tonight, Christopher Steele, the former British spy behind that controversial Russia dossier, has agreed to speak to Justice Department investigators about his work with the FBI. This according to the British --

    [17:10:00]

    BLITZER: -- newspaper, "The Times."

Let's bring in our Senior Justice Correspondent, Evan Perez.

Why is Steele apparently agreeing to talk to U.S. officials?

EVAN PEREZ, CNN JUSTICE CORRESPONDENT: Well, Wolf, I think he notices that there's a lot of skepticism, especially from Republicans, about the work that he did and whether or not the FBI should have used it, as part of the early stages of the investigation, the Russia investigation, that became part of the Mueller probe.

Look, the Justice Department has multiple investigations now going into the beginnings of the investigation -- of this investigation, including the inspector general, one now being done under the auspices of the attorney general, Bill Barr. And so it looks like Christopher Steele has realized that he's got to defend his work.

This is something, obviously, that he's already -- as you know, he spoke to the Mueller investigators. So he's already spoken to some investigators already.

Now because of all of this skepticism of whether or not Steele's work should have even been used in this, it appears that he wants to make sure that they understand why it was that the FBI trusted him, not only for this work and the Russia investigation but in previous investigations as well.

BLITZER: That's significant, potentially a significant development.

IG Horowitz didn't need to interview Steele to conclude FISA warrants were fraudulently obtained. https://thehill.com/opinion/white-h...n-steele-went-to-a-senior-fbi-man-well-before
IG Horowitz and AG Barr know the dossier is garbage, Steele is an idiot who can't be trusted, and must have a pretty good idea of who conspired to conceal the derogatory info from FISA. Steele might have info on Fusion GPS and Halper, but Barr and Durham really don't need him. FBI 302's and the paper trail of payments will ID the phony collusion scheme culprits.

Go back to sleep ... you're not to be disturbed until McCabe's indictment is served. We got the message, and you have my solemn word that I will PM you when the 1st indictment is handed down. If McCabe doesn't cooperate and ID his "resistance" cell ... he'll find himself in a prison cell.
