You are not far behind and catching up quick. These people are charged with a misdemeanor. They are hardworking people trying to support their families. They are here illegally...period! It’s not my financial responsibility to ensure they have a nice cushy air conditioned ride back to their country. We have American citizens, many of which are veterans that served this country that are living in poverty, homeless etc. while we spend tens of billions of dollars providing services for illegal immigrants, many of whom are working for cash and not even paying taxes. Causing a burden on our judicial system as well as our prisons.

All of those guys working at those meat plants were paying into social security and Medicare systems like most of the others illegals do in factories, farms and other industries. Also, here in America, we do not treat people like animals because they are suspected of being guilty of a minor misdemeanor like overstaying a visa. Unfortunately employers are in a bind, if they produce a social security card that's it, if you don't hire them because you believe they are illegal, then you'll get sued if they aren't. At that point you hire them if qualified it's not worth the risk.
